Route 96 between Eureka and Yreka. Twisty, low traffic density. You have to take rt 299 from Eureka to Willow Creek to get to 96. Follows the Klamath River. Plenty of sweepers, some twisties. MAP
Route 128. Twisty and scenic, excellent road condition, low traffic density. From the Pacific Coast Highway (route 1) at Albion, take 128 to the 101. Very twisty as it heads through the mountains and through redwood forests. MAP
Route 89 north of lake Tahoe. Fast, smooth twisties, road lined with fir trees. Some open areas allow you to really open it up! MAP
Central/Northern, route 25. Between Hollister and route 198, route 25 has both fast sweepers and tight sections as it winds along the Diablo Range. MAP
Route 84. Both twisty and scenic, low traffic density, excellent
road condition. Between Skyline and San Gregorio Beach is some of the best
motorcycling anywhere!
