From the thrashing of the waves the ship was tossed from wave to wave in
the dark blackness on the open ocean with only the stars to guide her. As the ship
neared land, the shine from a friendly beacon cut through the night as though it were cutting
like a knife, slices of the blackness open.
The light warned them of the dangers that lay ahead for this couragous ship.
Without the light guiding, showing the way through those murky waters, the ship
would have been lost for sure, against the tretcherous rocks hidden just under
the waves.The towering lighthouse gave safety to those who dared to come close
to these rocky jagged shores, searching for the inlet to guide them inward toward their home
that lay just beyond the sailors' grasp.
As the the world grows darker & darker, the lighthouses of this world will become brighter & brighter.
They will be more noticeable.
YOU christian need to let the light within you shine. There are many in this world who need to see
Jesus. When light enters an area, everything is exposed which will cause those around you to see
their own sin & see they need that light too to find their way home.
