Okay, so I didn't expect the first news I had to offer would be bad. Chris DeGarmo has departed from the band. He is going out on a new venture with Peter Cornell (more to come on that). The good news is, is that the rest of the band will remain together and are working on a new cd right now! Rumor has it that it will be very HEAVY and will be something along the lines of MINDCRIME! Stay tuned..as I hear of news, I will relay it here!

The latest I've been hearing is that Chris will
NOT be playing with Peter Cornell after all. The following is an excerpt from "Screaming in Digital":
It's anybody's guess at this point. A hairdresser in Seattle (who shall remain annonymous) even said she
would be doing Scott's sister's hair later that day and would relay anything she could find out. suuurre!
Lot's of rumor, lot's of intrigue, but my money's still on QR kicking some major butt, with or without Chris.
Just wish it could be WITH Chris!
"I thought I might clear up a misconception or two. I did decide to end my participation in Queensr˙che in mid-November '97 (the South America shows were previously committed to). My decision had nothing to do with Peter Cornell. I am very proud of everything we (QR) have created and achieved together. I wish each member individually, and collectively, the very best. I love them, they are like brothers."
