We are looking for twenty "hands-on" investors to put up $5000.00 each towards a 3 year salvage operation on an established 1715 Spanish treasure shipwreck. Not only does your investment allow you to reap the rewards of the treasure and artifacts recovered, but beach divers and snorkelers can learn underwater treasure salvage techniques from one of the most successful salvors in the business, Chris James. Participate in the search for treasure or just swim over the site and photograph and examine the cannons, anchor and ballast that remain. (divers must be in good physical condition, SCUBA certified and responsible for their own safety). This particular shipwreck has well-documented recoveries of silver and gold coins, gold jewelry and rare Chinese porcelain in the tens of millions of dollars. As world-reknown salvor and maritime historian Bob Marx has stated, there are millions of dollars worth of gold coins from this ship that have yet to be discovered. The photo at the top of the page depicts some of the exquisite gold and diamond jewelry intended for the Queen of Spain that Mr. James has recovered from this wrecksite in 1993. Many more pieces of the Queen's jewelry remains hidden on the bottom of the ocean and Oro Del Mar Salvage is hot on the trail.
