First of all I was born November 18th,
1962 in
Bradenton, Florida. Except for a short
time when I
was small, I have been in the state all
my life. As
a matter of fact my family has been here
since the
early 1800's. I grew up in a very small
town called
Myakka City and I'm happy to say that
after 3 years in Venice, Fl. I have
moved back! It is a spot on the road
between
Bradenton and Arcadia on Hwy 70.
On July 4th, 1985 I married my sweetheart Jerry. He is also an old Florida Cracker who's family roots go back as far as mine do in the state. He is the service manager for a heavey equipment rental company in Bradenton
June 8th, 1987 we were blessed with a little angel in our lives that we named Darrel Steven. He was born in the same hospital that Jerry and I were born in. However, Darrel came into this world a very sick little baby. He had Down's Syndrom and, as is common with that, he had lung problems and a heart defect. He was with us for 20 weeks befor it was time for him to move onto a higher place than earth. On October 26, 1987 God took his little angel back home to be with him.
Just a year later we had another
wonderful little
angel come to live with us. On November
12th, 1988
our daughter Denise Danielle was born.
A beautiful,
and very health little girl! Nowdays,
she stays
very
active. While we were living in Venice,
she was a cheerleader for two years for
the Venice Vikings Pop Warner Cheer and
Football. Now that we are back in the
country she has put in that she wants a
horse!
So there ya go folks, more than you probably ever wanted to know about me and my family!
