I am Lord Tatawaki Jube al'Hiro, know as Hiro. I am a fifth level monk in the Shire of the Vale of the Winds in the Empire of the Iron Mountains. I while searching on the internet for cool Amtgard stuff I ran accross your monk guild page and am very much impressed. As to the posting of the questions at hand we in the Iron Mountains leave it to your personal honor to not have any weapons in hand and I my self have tossed down weapons in my hand as well as weapons I might have tucked in my belt, but then again I have forgotten to remove such weapons at times.
I also have a sugjestion for beginning monks who might want somthing of a oriantal persona. The use of "lron Fans" was quite popular among many japanese lords as well as chineese kung fu masters. This can simpely be reproduced for our needs by simpelly placing two pieces of bed foam that have been cut to a approxamat size of a large fan. That is all I have and I appriciate the page that you have published.
