"Make That 21 For the Record!" That's right, on Saturday, November 6, 1999 the Marching Colts gave an outstanding performance at this year's Florida Bandmasters District 19 Marching Festival held at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The Marching Colts were once again able to hold on to their long history of Straight Superior Ratings for the 21 consecutive year! Judging is broken down into five basic categories: Music 1, Music 2, Marching and Manuevering, General Effect, and Auxilary. Congradulations Colts!
"Colts March in Orange Bowl Parade" The Colts Marched in the last Orange Bowl of the Century. On December 31, 1999 the Colts arrived in Miami, Florida to march in the annual Orange Bowl Parade
"Colts Are Impressive At Lely" This year the Colts went to Naples to compete in the Lely Trojan Tournament of Bands held at Lely High School. The Colts received 3rd place in their class. Superior Ratings went out to Woodwinds, as well as Percussion. Congradulations go our to the drum majors, Marisa Dinino and Joe Kempinski, for not only recieving Best In Class in their division, but for having the highest scores in the category for drum major of any other band in the competition!!! Way To Go COLTS!
This Year the Coral Springs High School Marching Colts performed a Classic Rock Half Time Show. The Show Consisted of "White Rabbit" -Jefferson Airplane, "A Whitter Shade of Pale"-Procul Harum, "Layla"-Derwk and the Dominos, and "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues.
