LIBERTARIAN WRITINGS
by Kirk Brothers
Welcome to the archives of my unpublished book entitled "The
Revolutionary Right".
This page is an index to articles (originally 14 in number)
which were written as a series and posted on various newsgroups.
The articles deal with such subjects as governmental abuse of
power, Constitutional rights and their denial by our Courts, the
true causes of the decline of our once-great country, and the
collapse which I believe must occur during the century beginning
2000 AD.
A few words about the style, vis-a-vis the content, of the
following articles.
First and foremost, I see myself as merely a journalist, and
my writings as editorial opinions on political questions. I am
not a historian writing for scholars in ivy-covered towers. I am
admittedly a propagandist--a crusader, if you prefer that term--
who sees the world as a madhouse in which the inmates are in
charge. And I say so in blunt language, with facts stuffed in
for rhetorical effect, rather than as a dispassionate exercise in
logic.
But time has compelled me to make substantial cuts and other
changes in the original articles, in order to bring them into
perspective with current events. They were written between late
1996 and mid-1997, and dealt with recent and historical events as
of that time frame. Some of them now read as hopelessly dated,
because they were written in a naive hope for a new grass-roots
political movement--to begin where Ross Perot's group ended--to
launch a political fight for meaningful and sweeping reform.
It has become apparent to me that all hope for political
reform in the United States is an exercise in futility, and that
the best that can be done in the immediate future is tantamount
to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
The original 14 articles, in chronological order, were first
posted with individual subtitles. In addition, the final three
articles were first posted under the collective title of A
LIBERTARIAN PRIMER. The original subtitles are used here, though
the texts might occasionally make reference to their earlier
collective title--namely, THE REVOLUTIONARY RIGHT. Simply click
on the title(s) you wish to read, and the link(s) will take you
to your choice(s) automatically.

highly recommended.

Twentieth Century...Evil in the Clear...". His observations
focus on abuses of power by the very rich, and provide a
contrasting viewpoint to my own, plus his own recommendations
for a new Constitution.
has posted a brief but thought-provoking page on the subject
of "Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace", with handy quotations
from Bourne, Lysander Spooner and others, and some links to
hard-to-find source materials. Highly recommended reading.

disturbing examples of the deteriorating quality of life in
the United States, from the viewpoint of our grandfathers'
generation to the generations to come. Includes social,
economic and political points of great interest to all
serious readers of this site.
and his writings on Monetary Realism are the subject of a
stimulating exposition and discussion of the subject of
money--a brilliant mercantile invention which has suffered
the inevitable consequences of becoming politicized by every
government on earth, as a means of obtaining greater power
over their citizens through substitution of "legal tender"
for "hard money" (such as gold and silver).
