Well I thought you might be interested in my story:
I became a big Kevin fan around last Sept. For New Year's I went to
Montreal to celebrate. Backstreet was having a concert on Dec 30 there
so my friends and I joked about tracking them down and meeting them.
Basically we decided we should just go see Usher perform on the 30th
instead of sitting around wondering where the boys would be...
We sat in the upper balcony area of the club right behind the DJ. Like
halfway through Usher's concert, my friend screamed "OH MY GOD THAT'S
KEVIN BACKSTREET!!!!!" (that's how we refer to him!!) Um yeah so I went
nuts - he was in the Dj area with entourage and I was two feet from his
head AND like no-one else in the club knew he was there so it was just
my friends and myself going nuts!! I got a hug, kiss, autograph, a few
smiles...etc...later on Howie showed up too and he was chillin by the
bar so my friend and I chatted with him a bit - we got him to do that
famous move from the 'backstreet's back' video with the limp
wrists/shifting his body side to side you know?! Totally hilarious.
His sister was there too and she's really great.
