DG's Nsync Nsanity!!

This is DG's Nsync Adventure! Jan 9, 1999 is official Nsync day! Not only was I (Dg) going to see Nsync for the first time later, Mtv played Nsync's Fave videos! And that Ultrasound thing, which is another story in itself! Well I was psyched!! I had gotten the Nsync car photo shirt from my Big Bro (gotta love that big guy!), way back in October. And I was saving for the concert so I could blend in with all the other Nsync Freaks! I wore some black jeans, with brand new skeechers sport shoes; and my custon Nsync sweatshirt. I don't know why I'm telling what I was wearing. Oh well. After begging and pleading with my parents to take me early, I know what your thinking she has a licence, why doesn't she just go? Well I'll tell ya: a licence is nothing without a thing called a car,and plus I wasn't gonna drive around downtown Sacramento on a Saturday night all alone. Sorry it just ain't gonna happen.
Well comming back to my point. I just wasn't gonna go early. I didn't have a chance to get a backstage pass. Oh well, next time. Finally at 5:30 pm we left, stopping by the good ol' bank, to get some money!! Then finally at about 6:10 we make it to the Memorial Audiorium! And good Lord, it was Nsync Nsanity out front. A mob, and I do mean MOB, of like 2 thousand (thats what my dad says) Nsync fans!!! They were standing on the sidewalk wrapped around the side of the building! As I looked at the fans when we drove passed, I realized I was like the only adult going to this concert of their own free will. Well we drove passed the auditorium, and we saw this very big semi truck. My dad says "that must be for all the stage equipment." Duh dad, no really it's for the puppet show! Then we turned the corner to go behind the auditorium and what do I see??? N'sync's 4 Buses!!!!!!!! That floored me! Oh soo cool! I wondered which one was thier's". Well my dad dropped me and my mom off behind the auditorium. And as we started to walk down the sidewalk, a security guard said that this area was closed and that we had to cross the street. Ok whatever. So we did. And we walked down the other side of the street passed two of the buses. Now the first one I think was their's. Why? Well ya know the boys love Southpark, and there was a Southpark doll sitting in the front window. Cartman I believe. I love Southpark, but don't know all their names. I thought that was cool. We walk to passed the teenyboppers trying to peek into the window to see if they were in there. In all of the buses, the lights and everything was on. Why, I don't know? Now I didn't have to stand on my tiptoes to peek in, I'm Big Foot! Yes I peeked in, shame on me! But come on if you had a chance to peek into there bus wouldn't you look? Well nobody was in there. But it was cool to see what it looked like in there. In the far back room, the TV room I believe, that was soo cute. They still had their Christmas lights up! I love Christmas lights! Then we continued to walk down the sidewalk. Please forgive me I didn't take a picture of the busses! I only had 7 pictures! So we joined the mass of Nsync fans waiting in the freezing cold!!! And it was FREEZING!!!!! It was dark, foggy and so freaking cold!!!!!!!!! Alright, standing out in the cold with a bunch of teenyboppers SCREAMING everytime a shadow walked by the window, was NOT the highlight of the evening!
About 6:40 the mob started moving, in what I call surges. A surge is not only a drink, it means every couple minutes the mob moves a few feet. This mob slowly moved. I was beginning to think that I wouldn't make it inside before the concert. But around 6:55 the mob was moving pretty quick. Out front of the auditorium, my fave radio station 107.9 The End was set up. That was cool! Except everytime they played God Must Have Spent, everyone felt it necesary to scream! Then finally at 7:12 I made it to the door. I said a quick goodbye to my parents, and walked inside. They took my ticket and then waited in a small room in yet another line. Hurry up and wait!Hurry up and wait! Now it was 7:17, just enough time to push my way thru the mob to buy my Nsync goodies!!! I got a Nsync Backstage (not a real one, just a souvenier one), a program, world tour 98 t-shirt, postcard pack, and of course a Blue Nsync glow stick!! But then as I was buying my glow stick, the concert started! But it was B*witched! Never heard of them before so I wasn't to overly rushing to find my seat. I found my seat, which was a good seat I might add. It was stage right (or the left side if you face the stage) and what was cool about it? Well it was raised about 3 feet from the ground, so my view was over everybody's heads! Well I wasn't getting into B*witched at that time. I put my goodies away in my bag, and watched them. I must say they were pretty darn good! In Feb I might get their CD. After B*witched all the lights went out. And everyone got up and SCREAMED! As if Nsync was next. I just sat there. Hello people, did we forget about Britney Spears, will I didn't. Over the loud speakers was, "Hit me Baby, One more time!" It like echoed, very cool! Then Brit came running out with two girls and two guys, in jumpsuits, and everyone sat down. But they still screamed! Miss Britney did a good job! I really liked her music! I'm gonna get her CD asap! Well after Britney was done, all the lights went out again. And again everyone got up! And screamed so loud my ears hurt!! Now I thought Nsync was coming, then suddenly all the lights came on. I heard people laugh. Heck, I laughed too. I was like oh Nsync coming.......WRONG! Well everyone sat down, and teenies walked around nothing real big. On the stage was a big black curtain which was set up to block the stage set up. Now everytime someone walked behind it the thing would move! That caused all the girlies to SCREAM!!!!!!!! A blondie guy would come into view. They would SCREAM "JUSTIN!". Well time ticked away. So I started to think, whats going on? Then I realized, Nsync must be backstage playing Hackey Sack. They really need to work on that. Well 10 minutes later all the lights went off. And the big Black curtain came down! Everyone stood up and SCREAMED!!! This Star Wars themed music started. Black figures walked on stage, then suddenly the Black sheets came flying off to reveal Nsync!!! In their White space suits! They did this cool dance to Star Wars! I loved it! It was in Black light so they glowed!!!! Then these bright lights came on about head level, and they took off the helmets!!!! Then started to sing "I wanna, I wanna rock with you!" Then the stage lights came on, and they rip off the space suits! To reveal their Beatle outfits! TAKE IT OFF BABY, TAKE IT OFF!!!!!!!!! JC moment!! Sort of, when JC ripped off his space suit, His pants went up, and showed off his legs!!!!!!!!!! Very nice JC!!!! After "Crazy For You" they went backstage! Then each one came out and said something. What I don't know cuz of all the screams I couldn't hear a dang thing, plus my ears hurt! Then they did A cappella songs! Justin said , that it this was from their next album!! They did "Jive Talkin", "How Deep is Your Love".That was very cool! If anyone says they can't sing, I will make them listen to them sing A capella!!!!!! Then after that they went backstage. The DJ played some Nsync background music. Now about the stage, on each side were these big bright lights. And the DJ would tell when the lights come on to say " Nsync!" It was soo CrAzY! Problem was my ears were starting to realy really hurt! Then Justin came running out on stage! He did this side ways walk, which was very nice. He didn't say anything. And all the girlies would scream! He would play with his shirt! they would scream! And everytime they would scream my ears would hurt even more. But Justin would walk across the stage and do some oh very nice thrusts!!!!! GO JUSTIN!! GO Mr. JAILBAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This boy knows how to make the girlies scream! He should, he made me scream!!!! If Justin did say anything I couldn't hear him. Then he started doing this cool beat box thing. And every time he would start, the drummer would start to overshadow him. So Justin would go to other parts of the stage to beat the drummer! It was all very enjoyable!!!!!! Then later all the guys came running out. Another JC moment!!!! JC wore a shirt with NO SLEEVES and a wife beater underneath!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN that boy is BUFF!!!!!!!! He also had this cool hat on, now I don't know what the name of the hat is. I think it was one of those ones with kangaroos on it.(sidebar by mAdGiRl, it's a Kangol) I do know what it kinda looks like, and gonna try to get one! Then they did IDMC, very cool! They ran backstage, and came out with their shades on and did "Giddy Up"!!!! I love that little walk at the beginning! JC still had that no sleeves shirt on! Whoohooo!! Well during that, those bright lights came on. Justin and the guys told us to sing "just ride it" and do that hand gesture! It was all good!
Then they went backstage, again. This time Lance came out. saying that he wanted to set the mooood, thats how he said it. MOOOOOOOOOD! that in itself was cool, cuz of Lance's deep voice! Anyway he said "Set the moood, just like this." He snapped his fingers, and the lights behind the stage that looked like stars, all turned a deep blue! It looked very coool!! Then they did GMHS! Man oh MAN!! That song seems seems so much better live! And when they said "a little more time on yoooouuuu" I would point to each of them! Cuz God much a definately spent a little more time on NSYNC!!!!! Well everyone else must have had the same idea cuz, when they would point at us, we would point right back at them! Then they went backstage again. JC changed his shirt to a button up one. Sorry I don't remember what the guys were wearing, I was hooked on JC, shame on me! They did IWYB!!!! Dang that song soo cool!! They had us sign "You're the one I want, you're the one I need" That flip they do was da bomb! Then they did HWG! Halfway thru, they split us in teams. I was on team 1 with Justin and Joey! Our part was Yes,yes,yes here we go! But my Big daddy was on the other side with Lance! Chris was the group leader! Now the sad thing is, I realy couldn't understand what they were saying, cuz it sounded to me that they have been inhaling heluim. Not good! they had us do choreography our side, would say "yes,yes,yes here we go,"and wave our arm in a circle. Side 2, "Nsync has got da flow", they had to wave their arms like a wave. Well side 2 was winning so the guys said to us from what I could hear. Justin said to us "Now if we win, you'll get to see Lance's underwear!!" Can you guess what everyone did? SCCRREEAAMMM!!!!!!!!! Well JC says "Yeah well, if we all win, we're gonna take y'all to Florida and party at Justin's mom's house!" Screams!!!!!!!!! Man those guys are so funny, they crack me up! Then after HWG, they went backstage again! Geez how many times do they need to check their makeup? Well then JC came back on, singing very beautifully as usual; ut he came out carrying a long-stemmed rose! For me JC? Yeah right, in my dreams! The sad thing was, I couldn't understand what he was saying. He sounded like he had just inhaled a big heluim balloon, and said "llloovee!" He sounded really wierd to me, which had me worried. From what I could understand he was talking about a love song. Cuz with all the screams I couldn't understand what he said even if I could hear him straight!! Then all the guys come out, and stood near some chairs. JC walks by and throws the rose out into the crowd..and... I ..... didn't get it! Had ya going for a moment! Well I wish I did catch it, JC may be able to throw a basketball, but I don't think he could throw a rose far enough to where I was. He's not Superman, cuz that's Joey's department. Maybe someday JC well give me a rose, if I will ever be that lucky!!!!! They did FTGWHE! Man I love that song! For The Girl is now my Fave Nsync song!!!! Ok, the best part was when they did this oh so very nice chair dance!!!!!! Well all I can say is, if I had to come back as a piece of furniture, more then anyhing I would want to be JC's CHAIR!!!!! OR better yet be sitting in JC's CHAIR!!!!!!!!! (ok DG needs a timeout! inhaling deeply, alright me better) Then after For The Girl, they all said their goodbyes, and they said that they will be back to Sacramento for sure!! And I will be there!!! They said quick goodbyes then left the stage! But the band played on and the girlies started chanting, "Nsync! Nsync! Nsync!" Well like the great guys they are they came back!!! They did TUMH! JC still had the same thing, but dang it all he looked good. But oh Damn MR. Justin JAILBAIT Timberlake had on a Black wife beater!!!!!!!!! Dang did that boy look PHAT! (pretty hot and tempting!) I tell ya that boy is like my second fave now, he was such a character! Now JC will always be #1 in my heart, but dang that boy Justin!!! (Need another timeout! breathing deeply, Ok better) Then after Tearin they said their final Goodbyes! I really wish I knew what they said. Then they left the stage. And that was it. The lights came on. And everyone picked up their things and started to leave. I sat down to get my things. I watched see if people were putting things on the stage, cuz I wanted to give JC something. But nobody was, only stage hands taking care of things. But as I was sitting there, I realized I couln't hear a dang thing! I swear! I could hear people talking but it sounded clouded and I couldn't understand. It was all very wierd and I didn't like it. Will I grabbed my stuff, put my gift for JC in my pocket, and started to leave. I was just gonna walk to the stage and throw it on there, good plan, right? Well I didn't do it,I chickend out. During the concert I saw some fans getting escorted out for doing that. Now your thinking , the concert was over whats the big deal? Well for one thing I couldn't hear if the security guard would yell at me and the second reason, the stage hand might throw it away. So fear kicked in, and I didn't throw the gift on the stage.I fought my way thru the crowd of girlies, on the way past the merchadise stand, I got a poster and a cool glossy pic of the Nsync Home For Christmas cover. That would help cheer me up cuz I was feeling a little down right then. WHy? Well for one thing I was all alone, nobody to share my first Nsync concert with. Plus to tell the truth, I was actually scared. I couldn't hear a dang thing and I had to walk down the street to meet my parents. Not looking forward to it. So I walked out of the auditorium and down the steps. 107.9 was giving out there stickers, and I got one. If I ever get a car that baby is going on my bumper! And I walked down the steps, they played GMHS. Everyone screamed, which how course made my poor ears hurt more! Well I walked down the street and thank you Lord, I found my parents. And off to home I went. Will about my ears, they hurt all night and all day Sunday. But I got my hearing back.
What was missing from the concert?: Well I don't know, it was my first Nsync concert! And I had a blast! But I was hoping they would do The Lion Sleeps Tonight! That would have been so cool! And I wish that they did Sailing, I love that song!!! Plus, I wanted Chris to make us an ocean of people!! HAHAHA! That boy cracks me up! I would love to go to another Nsync concert! Any day, anytime!! Just let me get some earplugs first. I love Nsync but I'm not gonna lose my hearing over them. One thing I wish Nsync could do, but it ain't gonna happen. It would be cool if they could have a concert for the non-SCREAMING fans. Just for fans who like to sing and dance along with them. But on the other hand , It was good that they were loud. That way no one could hear me sing. I may know the words, but I'll just leave the voices to Nsync!! Well that's my Nsync experience! Hopefully next time I will meet them, cuz Nsync saved my life. Which is something for another time. BYE BYE all, Stay Nsane for Nsync!!!!!
