  • STD clinic
  • hospital

Or, ask your health-care provider or public health department. DO NOT donate blood to get tested.

Will my health insurance cover the cost of the test? Usually. But if insurance pays for the test, the test results will become part of your medical history. And, a positive result can affect your chances of getting health or life insurance in the future.
