Homeopathic Prophylaxis.
You'll see that some poeple prefer not to treat their children with homeopathic vaccination and instead
they will wait till the child acquires the illness and then quickly treat it homeopathically.
While that would not be my approach and I would use homeopathic vaccination, I do feel
it is a choice for people, but not a choice for cats. Why not? Well, even the youngest
human has a better chance against infection than a tiny cat or kitten, and in addition,
cats do not have the detoxifying systems of a human - so that a cat can die from an infection
such as panleucopenia or bordetella overnight, literally. To me that is not something to play
around with, hoping to catch the illness and treat it and have the necessary remedy handy
and so on - for a serious feline illness. I consider in the case of cats, that prevention is less of a choice,
and more of a responsible necessity.
