Jaci was born October 15, 1979 in Houston Texas. Her father is a traveling minister. She is the youngest of five kids.

She is the Dove Award's 1997 New Artist of the Year. She has had 5 #1 singles from her debut album. Jaci's sophomore project is now available in stores.
