Lorado Lorain Coal Journal

In the 1940’s Lorado / Lorain Coal Company published journals every quarter for their employees. The Journals pictured life in the coal mines and the community life. My Mother,Edith Chappell Bucy had saved many of these journals and a few months before the Buffalo Creek Flood gave me a few of them – the rest were lost in the flood. Ronnie Workman found his Grandfather French Workman’s full collection a few years ago. Ronnie scanned these journals and then loaned them to The Logan County Coal Museum.
