-February 2 Saturday: Spaghetti Dinner benefitting Knights Templar Eye Foundation at Noah Lodge (41 Willis Rd, N Ft Myers) from 4 to 7PM, $6.00 donation per meal ALL YOU CAN EAT. Volunteers: We need you from 3 to 8PM!!

-Mar 25 Tuesday Commandery practice 7PM, Meeting 730PM. Confer Order of Malta & Mediterranean Pass on candidates. -Apr 8 Tuesday Council Meeting 7PM
Apr 22 Commandery Meeting time undetermined (possibly 6PM). Conferral of Order of the Temple on candidates.
-May 13 Tuesday Chapter Meeting 7PM. Confer Mark master Degree on Candidates.
-May 27 Tuesday Commandery 7PM opening practice, 730PM meeting. MEETING CANCELLED - conflicts with Grand Lodge this year.

-June 5, Thursday - OFFICIAL VISIT of James W. Hogg, DDGC to TRINITY COMMANDERY 16, meeting in Venice.

-June 10 Tuesday Council meeting 7PM. District Deputy official visit night. This is the LAST meeting until September.

-June 24 Tuesday Commandery meeting 730PM. This is the LAST meeting until September.

NOTE: UPDATE as of June 2, 2008, We WILL go dark this summer in Chapter, Council, and Commandery. The presiding officers all had a change of heart in the past few days. After the Commandery meeting in June, we will NOT convene in any of the three bodies again until September.

For those of you who missed the District Meeting for District 2 held at Tropical Lodge No. 56 on Evans Avenue in Fort Myers on Friday, June 20th, you missed something good. The hospitality was great and the dinner was top shelf. We had PRIME RIB with all the "fixin's" and it was succulent and delicious. Kudos goes out to Carlos Arroyo and his crew for preparing the best meal this member has ever seen at a Masonic function (with the only exception being the Conference of Grand Masters of N. America annual banquet!)

This is just an example of what we ARE capable of doing. Now, what's next? How about a Table Commandery -- in connection with another fabulous meal like the one we had at the District Meeting? Is everyone up to something like this?

To the Officers and members of Fort Myers York Rite: Some of us are dead serious about resurrecting OUR York Rite to where it was in the late l980's & early 1990's before the years of neglect settled in. How about it, fellows -- LET'S DO IT!
