Chief Justice John Marshall stated in Cohens v Virginia, 6 wheat (19 U.S.) 264, 404:

Henry Kissinger in an address to the super secret Bilderberg Organization meeting at Evian, France, May 21, 1992 said the following as transcribed from a tape recording made by one of the Swiss delegates:

Let's see, for the record, what they had to say about the Second Amendment:

"And that the said Constitution be never construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the Press, or the rights of Conscience; or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms ..." (Philadelphia Independent Gazetteer, Aug. 20, 1789 quoting Propositions submitted to the Convention of this State by the Honorable Samuel Adams, Esquire).

"The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that ... it is their right and duty to be at all times armed ..."(Thomas Jefferson letter to Justice John Cartwright, June 5, 1824).

"The right of the people to keep and bear arms has been recognized by the General Government; but the best security of that right after all is, the military spirit, that taste for martial exercises, which has always distinguished the free citizens of these States. ...Such men form the best barrier to the liberties of America" (Gazette of the United States, Oct. 14,1789).

"In England ... a large proportion of the most valuable of the provisions in Magna Charta, and the bill of rights in 1688, consists of a solemn recognition, of limitations upon the power of parliament; that is, a declaration, that parliament ought not to abolish, or restrict those rights. Such are the right of trial by jury; the right to personal liberty and private property according to the law of the land; that the subjects ought to have a right to bear arms ..."(Joseph Story, Dane Professor of Law in Harvard University, Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States, 1833, Book III at 718, § 1858).

"Here, let us again pause, and reflect, how admirably this division, and distribution of legislative power is adapted to preserve the liberty, and to promote the happiness of the people of the United States. ... Fifthly, and lastly; by the separation of the judiciary from the legislative department; and the independence of the former, of the control, or influence of the latter, in any case where any individual may be aggrieved or oppressed, under colour of an unconstitutional act of the legislature, or executive. In England, on the contrary, the greatest political object may be attained, by laws, apparently of little importance, or amounting only to a slight domestic regulation:the game-laws, as was before observed, have been converted into the means of disarming the body of the people. ..." (Saint George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries, 1803, Volume 1,Appendix, Note D).

"The congress of the United States possesses no power to regulate, or interfere with the domestic concerns, or police of any state: it belongs not to them to establish any rules respecting the rights of property; nor will the constitution permit any prohibition of arms to the people. ..." (Saint George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries, 1803, Volume 1,Appendix, Note D).

"The prohibition is general. No clause in the Constitution could by any rule of construction be conceived to give to congress a power to disarm the people. Such a flagitious attempt could only be made under some general pretence by a state legislature. But if in any blind pursuit of inordinate power, either should attempt it, this amendment may be appealed to as a restraint on both" (William Rawle, A View of the Constitution of the United States of America 125-26, 2d ed., 1829; Mr. Rawle was appointed as a U.S. Attorney for Pennsylvania by President George Washington. Mr. Rawle was also Washington's candidate to be the nation's first attorney general, but Rawle declined).

"The people are not to be disarmed of their weapons. They are left in full possession of them." -- Zachariah Johnson, 3 Elliot, Debates at 646 (June 25, 1788).

"Besides the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation ... in the several kingdoms of Europe ... the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms" (James Madison, the Federalist Papers, No. 46).

There are more, but the point is clear. Lawmakers, judges and presidential candidates have no excuse, nor any reason, to believe or legislate otherwise.

There is no question that Americans have a "right to keep and bear arms," and that right "shall not be infringed," just as Congress "shall make no law" banning freedom of religion or the press, or that our guarantees of privacy and security "in our houses, papers, and effects ... shall not be violated."

What part of "shall not" is unclear? Ninety million of us would like to know.

The meeting that has really roiled the American right begins Sept. 6 and runs for three days. The Millennium Summit will bring together up to 150 heads of state in what is purported to be the largest such gathering in history.

Conservative radio has buzzed that this meeting will establish a permanent standing U.N. army, make gun registration mandatory, establish a U.N. bank with U.N. currency, and bring all international financial institutions under U.N. control.

Many of these ideas have percolated among radical non-governmental organizations for years, and some may even get a hearing at the Millennium Summit. Still, the summit is expected only to call for the ratification of seven existing U.N. treaties, including the highly suspect International Criminal Court. It is also expected to call for a world conference on nuclear disarmament.

In a contest between the Constitution and treaties, the Constitution prevails. As the Supreme Court explained in Reid vs.Covert (1957), in an opinion joined by civil-libertarian icons Chief Justice Earl Warren and Associate Justices Hugo Black,William O. Douglas and William Brennan:

"No agreement with a foreign nation can confer power on Congress, or on any other branch of government, which is free from the restraints of the Constitution. . . .It would be manifestly contrary to the objectives of those who created the Constitution, as well as those who were responsible for the Bill of Rights, let alone alien to our entire constitutional history and tradition to construe Article VI as permitting the United States to exercise power under an international agreement without observing constitutional prohibitions."

Sir, we have been trying that for the last ten years. Have we anything new to offer upon the subject? Nothing. We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves. Sir, we have done everything that could be done, to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament. They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations; and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace-but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! This is from a report that was released by the Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. It chronicles the relationship between gun restriction and confiscation and the genocide that took place following it.

Here is the record. It speaks for itself.

*The Soviet Union established gun control in1929. From 1929 to 1953, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

*Turkey established gun control in 1911. From 1915 to 1917 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

*China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1976 20 million Anti-Communists, Christians, political dissidents and pro-reform groups, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

*Germany established gun control in 1938. From 1939 to 1945 13 million Jews, Gypsies, mentally ill people and other "mongrelized peoples," unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

*Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

*Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

*Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977 1 million "educated people," unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and executed.

If you were adding them up, that amounts to more than 55 million innocent people who were slaughtered by their own governments - governments that had first rendered their citizens defenseless by restricting or confiscating their firearms.

Freedom-loving people are at far more risk from their own government than from all the Ted Bundys and Al Capones of the world combined! A free man with a firearm has a fighting chance against any would-be gangster or criminal. On the other hand, an unarmed man has no chance at all against an oppressive, tyrannical government.

Remember this the next time you hear Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Bill Bradley and G.W. Bush touting the virtues of more gun control.

Will the police protect you ?

What a retired police officer says about the police strikes in New York and Chicago and what we have now!

If you really want to know, I will tell you, but it will lodge in your mind and trouble your thoughts.

The truth is that during these police strikes the crime rate dropped by a full 50%, in each strike, in different cities! As a old ex=cop I am not supposed to tell about this. This is why there have been no more "Police Strikes" in this country.

The truth is that the criminals are afraid to "work" without the protection of the police. While the police were out on strike "John Q. Public" armed themselves and were prepared to shoot the first criminal they saw. I agree that we do need some police, to help people, to do criminal investigation, and to haul any still alive criminals to jail.

To all LEO's.

We have been sold a "bill of goods". Sure, we all want to feel justified in our jobs, but when "The establishment" started telling the people that "law enforcement" was only a job for the police, America began to slide down hill. When the police began to think of themselves as somehow separate and superior to the public, it slipped more.

Now we have Law enforcement, instead of peace officers. We have law enforcement officers that dress like terrorists and act like them. We now have the setting for a civil war in this country, and a lot of it comes from the actions of Federal LEO's. BTW. Guess what happened when doctors went on strike in a major hospital. YEP!

Police are not PAID to protect you , they are paid to control you for the good of the State Revenue.

"The police will protect you?" No YOU are a menace to your safety and a threat to the tax base.

They are also flat wrong. I am not referring to the overwhelming inability of police to combat crime. Why state the obvious? I am referring to the fact that the police have no duty whatsoever to protect you against criminals. That's not in the job description of 'police officer.' The courts have recognized this fact for over a century.

In 1856, the U.S. Supreme Court (South v. Maryland) found that law enforcement officers had no duty to protect any individual. Their duty is to enforce the law in general.

More recently, in 1982 (Bowers v. DeVito), the Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit held, "...there is no Constitutional right to be protected by the state against being murdered by criminals or madmen. It is monstrous if the state fails to protect its residents... but it does not violate... the Constitution." Later court decisions concurred: the police have no duty to protect you.

Police vehicles routinely sport decals proclaiming sentiments such as 'Proud to Serve!' If they aren't there to protect you, the question becomes, "Who are they serving?" The answer is clear: the police department exists to enforce the law.

Policemen serve the government, not the people. And uphold the law with total disregard for whether their actions create or prevent violence. For example, if government decides that certain forms of adult consensual crimes must not be tolerated, then the police will draw their guns and barge into otherwise peaceful bedrooms. To uphold an unjust law, they will create violence and victims.

Those who blithely reassure you about police protection are doubly wrong. Not only is protection not the officers' job, they may well be the ones who victimize you. Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership, correctly observes that the American legal system is based on the English Common Law. The modern American policeman dates back centuries to the role of the English Sheriff, who was paid by and accountable to the government, not the community. As the JPFO states, the main purpose of the Sheriff was the "enforcement of government decisions," such as seizing property.

"Maintenance of public order" was of secondary concern. Indeed, if the two concerns collided - as in the enforcement of victimless crime laws - the government invariably won.

Americans revere the romantic Western notion of Marshall Dillon defending the schoolmarm against the Bang-'em-Up gang who swoop down like wolves on the prairie town. But, often, these sheriffs were hired by the communities and were responsible to the people there. Moreover, the townsfolk themselves routinely owned guns. What Americans are actually revering is an example of a quasi-private police force functioning within an armed society. Unfortunately, this image still benefits the modern state policeman who is routinely glorified by television programs like Cops!

Yet these state-employees are the antithesis of the Western sheriff. They are modeled after the British Sheriff - they are responsible only to enforce government policy and they often are the wolves.

If policy makers want to prevent violence, they should consider disarming the police and encouraging gun ownership within the citizenry. There is historical precedent. In his book Frontier Justice, Wayne Gard describes the rampant corruption of politics and police in 1850's San Francisco. Violence soared until the SF vigilante committee revived (1856). Within three months, Gard explains, "San Francisco had only two murders, compared with more than a hundred in the six months before the committee was formed."

#10999 - Seizure of all means of transportation,including personal cars, trucks or vehicles of any kind and total control over all highways, seaports and waterways.

#11000 - Seizure of all American population for work forces under federal supervision, including dividing families as necessary according to government plans.

#11001 - Seizure of all health, education and welfare facilities, both public and private.

#11002 - Empowers the Postmaster General to register all men, women and children in the U.S.

#11003 - Seizure of all airports and aircraft.

#11004 - Seizure of all housing and finance authorities, to establish Forced Relocation. Designates areas to be abandoned as "unsafe," establishes new locations for populations, relocates communications, builds new housing with public funds.

#11005 - Seizure of all railroads, inland waterways and storage facilities, public and private.

#11051 - Provides the Office of Emergency Planning complete authorization to put the above orders into effect in times of increased international tension or economic or financial crisis.

#11490 - Combines Executive Orders #11001 to#11005 and #11051 into a single Executive Order.

#11921 - F.E.M.A. is authorised to develop plans to control energy, prices and wages, credit and the money supply to U.S. banks in the event of a 'National Emergency.' Congress may not review a President's decision to enforce a 'National Emergency' for six months.

#12656 - The National Security Council given authority to determine requisite emergency powers (increased domestic surveillance, isolation of communites, restriction of movement for groups and individuals in the USA, control of airspace, use of the national guard to enforce laws and seal borders).

#12919 - Signed June 3, 1994, by President Clinton. "National Defense Industrial Resources Preparedness" delegates authorities, responsibilities and allocations of F.E.M.A.'s Executive Orders for the confiscation of all property from the American people, and their re-location to labor camps. This Executive Order also supersedes or revokes eleven (11) previous Executive Orders [from 1939 through 1991] and amends Executive Order #10789 and #11790. The declaration of a 'National Emergency' by the President may immediately lead to the implementation of martial law, thus suspending the Constitution.
