CONGRATULATIONS C_HAWKFAN!

- - - - - In the final week of the competition, C_hawkfan took no chances by going 13-3 to clinch the championship for the 2012 season. As it turns out, he already had it in the bag before the Week 17 games even started, as no other player had enough different picks to make up the ground. With the win, he improves on his 3rd place finish from a year ago, and comes within a half-game of last season's winning total. T_Money does hang onto second place and Top Viking honors with a 12-4 record but has to share the runner-up spot with Maxie's Maidens, who surged on a 13-3 final week. Dallas22 drops a spot to 4th, but holds on as Top Cowboy, and finishes tied with sdmikey and Razorback70. Raven Irish, much like his Baltimore team, struggled as the season went on but still comes in a respectable 7th palce. The biggest jump belongs to Road Warriors, who finished with consecutive week-winning performances, this time at 14-2, to crack into the Top Ten in 8th place. Cuba (9-7) and DePicker's Dawgs (10-6) were going in the opposite direction, but barely held on in the Top Ten. However, their slow finish allowed Hatchett and Bobbygene to creep back in for a tie at the ninth spot. Just on the outside, we have ultraman, OnTheBeach, and Cruizer, missing out on a Top-Ten finish by one game.
- - - - - Top Cardinal was claimed by donojhawk, who finishes two games out of the Top Ten, as did Top Chief TXChiefman. Top Packer goes to DePicker's Dawgs by one game, thanks to the 9-7 finish by OnTheBeach. At the bottom of the standings, flip a coin narrowly escaped being caught by crackyourcoconut, as both finished with 9-7 records. Preacher stumbled across the finish line at 8-8, but was enough to stay ahead of both Chiefs; those Kansas City helmets do look quite at home at the bottom of the standings. And so we conclude another season, our 17th. Good luck to those with teams in the playoffs and we hope to see everyone back again next year!
