Introducing Felix
I drew Felix for the first time in 1988. I was in the tenth grade at Pascagoula High School.
I had a friend named Patricia that was taking Physics in the 10th grade. This was unheard of at our
school. Most kids didn't take that class until senior year. Ok, most of us did NOT take it at all. Patricia
was very smart. She is probably one of the smartest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. If not for her,
Felix would not exist today. She was nervous abou the class. I drew Felix to make her laugh. He began as "Felix
the Physics Freak". He didn't just make Patricia laugh, he made everyone laugh. He became popular and a great stress
relief for me. Felix is the only character that I continue to draw. I had a whole set of them and got requests on a daily basis. Someone would
ask for a chemistry class character or a math class one. I drew a million of these from high school through college. The only one that
remains is dear Felix. I've drawn him with pen and paper for years and now for the first time ever, I've drawn him using Paint Shop Pro 6. And now, I
introduce him to you, here on the net.
Patricia, if you ever happen across this page, I hope you enjoy the pictures.
