European Robot Arm (ERA)

These photos were taken on September 26, 2000 at ESA/ESTEC in Noordwijk the Netherlands. The European Robotic Arm will be important for building and servicing ISS. ERA is scheduled to be launched to ISS on flight 9A.1 with the Space Shuttle in 2004. ERA will be placed on the Russian Science Power Platform (SPP) that will go up on the same Shuttle flight.
