Europe's ENVISAT satellite at ESA/ESTEC in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. ENVISAT is scheduled for launch in September 2001 aboard an Ariane-5 rocket. When these photos were taken, (April 08, 2001) the satellite had completed al of its test and was ready for the flight to Kourou.
