Hanson Story

By: 1 Hanson Lover

CHAPTER 1

I woke up, and turned on my CD player. My usual CD, Middle of Nowhere, was, of course, in there. So, I got ready for school while listening to the wonderful voices of the best group around, not to mention my favorite musicians, Hanson. I finished getting ready, I turned off my CD player, and went downstairs. I was greeted by the glum faces of my sister, Abby, age 8, and my brother, Christopher, age 16. My mom said, " Good morning, Amanda. We have some bad news."

CHAPTER 2

"What is it, mom?", I asked. She replied, "Well, honey, your father will lose his job if we don't move. We have to move to Tulsa, Oklahoma. And we're leaving in a week. Oh yeah, one more thing--- you will be homeschooled with some children that will live next door." That was enough. I didn't want to hear any more. I burst into tears and dashed upstairs. I flopped down onto my huge, king-sized bed and soaked my pillow in tears.

CHAPTER 3

I woke up on Saturday morning in a good mood. Then I remembered--today was moving day. As I looked through my window, I saw a bunch of big, fat, strong guys scurrying around with our furniture. My Scottish terrier, Lilly, was very hyper because of all the people, and she was running around like a maniac. I heard a mover scream, "GET RID OF THIS DUMB, OBNOXIOUS DOG!!!!" "Yikes!" I thought. I took a shower, got dressed, brushed my teeth, fixed my hair, and went downstairs. Everyone was getting their stuff ready to go, so I ate a quick breakfast and ran outside to help.

CHAPTER 4

After a few hours of this treacherous work, I decided I needed a break. So I grabbed a leash, clipped it on Lilly's collar, and started walking her around. We walked for around an hour, and by the time we got back it was around six o'clock in the evening. It was time to go. I mentally said goodbye to our old neighborhood, and I remembered my going away party my friends had given me. It was really awesome--all of my friends were there. My best friend, Erica, had purchased an address book, and everyone had written their address and phone number in it so I would always remember them. I told them, "How could I ever forget all of you??" We had a great night, and I will always remember that party.

CHAPTER 5

I felt someone shaking me. It was my brother, Chris. He said, "We're there, Sleepyhead!" I looked out my window and saw a HUGE house. It was made of stone, and it was very beautiful. I looked over at the neighbor's house, and I saw a bunch of little kids playing in the yard. There were two girls, that looked to be around 8 and 6, and a little boy who was probably about 3 years old. I got out of the car and streched. A lady with blonde hair walked up to us and said, "Hi! My name is Diana Hanson. My family and I are your new neighbors! Please, come over and meet my family." As she rattled on, I was in shock. "I LIVE NEXT DOOR TO HANSON!!" I was thinking. Me, Chris, and Abby walked over to our neighbor's house.

CHAPTER 6

Mrs. Hanson opened the door and yelled, "Kids, please come down here!" I heard a loud, stampede-like noise. Suddenly, I was greeted by my favorite music group's faces. I was so excited! But I know that Hanson hates obsessed fans, so I kept my cool. Then I saw the bunch of little kids I had seen outside. Mrs. Hanson introduced us. "Abby, Amanda, Christopher, these are my children, Isaac, Taylor, Zachary, Avery, Jessica, and Mackenzie." I said, 'Nice to meet you." Isaac said, "Do you want us to show you around?" Taylor said, "Yeah, there isn't that much to see, but you know, maybe, ahh, do you wanna?" I didn't know why Taylor was acting so nervous. Anyway, I said, "That sounds great to me!" Chris said, " Maybe some other time. I just want to relax." Since no one her age was going, Abby decided to stay home and play with Jessica and Avery. I was thrilled. A whole day with Hanson, alone! I couldn't wait. Story by: WhatsUpRLB@aol.com
