Alright! A sequel to the infamous Pokemon Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow games are now in development! Slated to come out in Japan around April, this game will probably be one of the biggest Pokemon games out there! It doesn't need the fancy 3-D effects the N64 can provide among other things... it only needs the help of the revolutionary Game Boy Color! I am really excited about this one, it has so many new features that I don't know where to begin telling you all! But what's a real downer is that there aren't any confirmations as to when Pokeomn Gold/Silver will come out! That just really bites, and I hope that Nintendo will bring them here to American shores if they know what's good for 'em...

This time around, you can take on the roles of one of two characters! There has been no announcement of their names yet, but all I know is that they already look cool! I wonder if Ash is making an appearance... maybe at the end of the game after the Elite Four...hm... (hint, hint, Nintendo!)... The new mode of transportation is the Skateboard, which will hopefully be worth a whole lot less than the Bike did! Hehehe...

Consequentially, there are a whole lot of new Pokemon! And we do mean a WHOLE LOT! The game features about 250 Pokemon, which includes the 150 we already know and love... There are so many innovations in the Gold/Silver versions... it just makes us giddy all over! Previous Pokemon in the R/B/G/Y versions who were at there maximum evolution now continue to take a greater form in the Gold/Silver! Just trade them over to the Gold/Silver, and evolve them! However, due to the lack of neccisary data, Pokemon from the Gold/Silver CANNOT be successfully traded over to the R/B/G/Y versions...

There are also Male and Female versions of Pokemon, just like those Nidorans! And what makes it even cooler is that you can now cross breed them to make Poke-babies! Woo hah! Talk about the possibilities! And it doesn't stop there! Certain Pokemon are nocturnal... meaning that they are only active during the night! Gold/Silver now includes an internal clock, where night and day are constantly coming and leaving. With this, the developers made it possible that only certain Pokemon can be caught during the night. This also means that you cannot use them in battle during the day, since they will be asleep and useless.

Well by now after reading all this way kool info, you must be drooling... I don't blame ya, it's happened to the best of people. Well anyhoo, this game is just all around kick ass. Graphics are just superb thanks to the GBC, the battle system has been improved, and then there's the 200+ Pokemon! ::drool:: heh... pardon me... Well, Nintendo, if you're readin this, I just want to let you know that I am one among thousands who really want this game! So hop to it! Not just for our own benifit, but for yours!
