Most of this here is personal experience. Things that have happened to me that just piss me off, but there are a few things that further my proof that "God", at least as far as Christinaity, doesn't exist.
There is a page, eternalsoldier.net, with the most proof. In her own rants page, although more like a journal than my own, it explains why "God hates women". Excerpts from the Bible tell why God hates women; and gives men permission to rape them and kill them if they aren't virgins. Things like that.
Now, for my personal experiences. I told someone in my school that I didn't believe in God, and it spread like wild-fire. Everyone thinks I am an anit-Christ now. Well, a few people.
This is a very common thing. People are such IDIOTS! I mean, HFIL, whenever someone isn't 100% on their side, they are automatically assuming that you are instantly AGAINST them. It's annoying as anything. In fact, I had one person telling me that they could hook me up with a damned Bible. They were telling me where their churchs where, and when they held sermons, etc. When I told them I couldn't care less, they just looked shocked and said, "So you don't want to go to Heaven?" !? There ain't no Heaven! At least as far as I'm concerned! I ain't trying to convert anyone to athiesm, so leave me alone on the subject!
I have a question for everyone who is Christian, Catholic, Jew, or whatever. Anyone who believes in Heaven and Hell. Why does Hell exist? I've asked people that question, and they say "Because the Devil needs a place to live". People have also said that the Devil is the person responsible for ALL the bad things happening on the planet. Tell me this, if God created Heaven, and has the strength to so easily overcome and banish the Devil, why does the Devil exist at all!? If God loves everyone, why does he punish them for all eternity, huh?
Many people bring up the fact that there is scientific proof that Jesus did, in fact, exist. Personally, I'm not sure whether or not they're lyin'. But I'll tell you this - I believe them that a man named Jesus Christ walked the Earth about 2000 years ago. I do NOT believe that he is the son of God. And neither do I believe he was lying, either. I think he seriously believed that he was. All the other miracles happening around him, in my opinion, are both exaggerated and coincidences. I don't say this often, because I know people don't like being told their Messiah is some sort of looney tune.
Why do people put so much emphasis on the Bible? A book written millenia ago, why do they put so much faith in the fact that none of it has been changed?
I'd like to say one last thing. I'm not slamming the Christian religion. I respect all people's faith in any God. I'm just asking questions about it and saying why I do not believe in it. And it's not just christianity I don't believe in - it's "God" himself. So, do not take any offense by any of this. I ain't insulting Christians.
