Just listen to me. I'm sure over half of your thoughts of me just dropped about ten fold, but I do have excellent reasons to prove my own theory to be true.
First of all, where is the proof? People say that you don't NEED proof, but I sure as HFIL know that I need some. In fact, there is even proof that the Bible is wrong, too. Adam and Eve were just placed on Earth? Just like that? So, that is going against a (PROVED) theory, the Theory of Evolution. And how could TWO people populate the entire world, huh? Even by working pretty damned hard (heh), it would be nearly impossible. Meaning that their entire family are imbreeders, no?
But before we drift from things like evolution, look at this, as well. According to the Bible, God put several animals down on the Earth, and that was that. Nothing about extinct or evolved animals. And why is that? Because people didn't understand the concept at the time.
Which brings me to my next, and most powerful, argument. Believe it or not, the most truthful statement in religion I've ever heard was found in a VIDEO GAME. That's right, Final Fantasy Tactics. An opponent of yours says, "God is an image created out of man's insecurities."
THAT is all God is! People saw lightning and animals, had no clue how they got here, so created a 'god' to blame this all on. Therefore, they can more easily understand things. But then, scientific fact comes along that actually disproves these theorys. So, with more and more science coming around, a God is more an more disproven! WHY can people not see this??
In response to this, I was once asked, "Well, what started the Big Bang in the first place, huh, wise guy? SOMETHING had to, if nothing existed beforehand! And it was GOD!"
Well, I'll admit, I do not know how it was started, exactly. But did you know a while back, people did not even knew the Big Bang even EXISTED? That's right. I'll bet anyone that in the future, we will find out how. There are infinite things you can't explain, so blame on some God, things which will one day be explained by science.
However, I still believe in Jesus. Sure, I believe a man named Jesus Christ existed. I believed that both HE and the PEOPLE thought he was a messenger of God. I seriously doubt he really WAS, though. Religious wars are fought for absolutely no reason, it's a waste of time, money, and lives.
So what's the deal, folks?
