Now, then. First, I'd like to talk about Black History Month (and even Women's, if it exists ^^; I ain't sure). My guess is, people thought that they were disrespecting blacks, so they dedicated a full month to studying them and learning of their past. Does this sound even worse to anyone else? "Well, shoot. These black folk keep annoying me about this. Ah, well, I'll just make a month aside for them. They'll be happy." What?? You give a race a month or just them, and they're supposed to happy? Same goes for the women, if a Women's History Month exists. Yeah, well, what about us white males, huh? No month for US! So, does this mean we are superior or inferior? It most definately means one of the other. Either we're not worth a full month, or, we get everything else (the majority of the year)
Which brings me to affirmative action. For those that don't know, this means that a company HAS to hire a certain amount of minorities throughout a year. Even if a white male is more qualified for the job, the black woman might very well be chosen. Again, what the HFIL? Shouldn't we be focusing on who is BETTER, instead of trying to make blacks and women feel better about their race and sex or something? Does this not sound a LITTLE screwed up?
And finally, I would like to admit that I hate most ANYBODY who goes around for women's/black's rights. Again, most. Because just about all people who do this don't just say that they should have equal rights, THEY think they are superior! For God's sake, women aren't superior! Neither are blacks! And neither are whites or males. So why does anybody think otherwise, huh?
Stupid is what it is.
