Full Name: Kojiro Sasake Ayame (koh-JEER-oh sah-SAH-kee AH-yam-ay)
History
Kojiro was born in a high class family. By many people's standards, he was considered rich. Not extraordinarily wealthy, however. Kojiro had an older brother whom he looked up to greatly. When Kojiro was seven, his brother joined the army. An act that Kojiro has wanted to do ever since his brother did.
His father, however, wanted him to be a mechanic. So, rather against his will, Kojiro was taught all the basics, and even the advanced sciences of machines and computers. It began to grow on him, and Kojiro soon abandoned what he now considered the "childish" desire to join the army, and began to dedicate himself to mechanics.
Kojiro was not an incredibly smart person. He was only slightly above average in most situations. However, even as a small child, he was extremely exceptional in science and mathematics, almost considered a prodigy. He eventually became nearly a master of machines, and by the time he was seventeen, wanted to do something with this.
Almost as soon as he decided he was going to attend a college, his father and mother received a notice from the army his brother had attended. Kojiro's brother had died in action only weeks ago. Given this to alter his decision, Kojiro once again chose to join the army. However, this time he would stick to his level of expertise.
Kojiro joined the army primarily as a mechanic, but decided that it would hardly be a bad idea to gain fighting skills in order to defend himself. So before he enrolled as a mechanic, he entered SOLDIER, which was renowned as a difficult yet rewarding status among soldiers. After extensive training with a quarterstaff and a hand held Uzi type machine gun, he achieved 2nd class. That done, Kojiro acted as a mechanic. He mostly designed weapons and upgrades for heavy machinery. But he kept one weapon design, the Gokou Rod, to himself. Mostly out of the fact that he just wanted it to be a weapon unique to him.
After serious damage was dealt to one squadron of SOLDIER, Kojiro was drafted to the Blue Spears because of his fighting with a quarterstaff. He was given the customary blue spear, but was actually allowed to battle with any other secondary weapon as well, so used the Gokou Rod more than anything.
After a while, he came to befriend the two soldiers Skan Erreden and Densetsu Lumin. In all actuality, Densetsu hardly looked to Kojiro as a friend, merely as a person who often accompanied him on several military scenarios. After his draft in the Blue Spears was completed, Kojiro and Skan spent a lot of time working mostly in the Gear docks together. They taught a lot to each other; but the majority of the teaching was done by Kojiro.
At one point, Skan managed to escape the ranks in which he was literally held prisoner. And while Kojiro was glad that Skan could leave, it left him with one less friend in a mass of people whom he hardly liked at all.
At one point, his Gear dock was attacked and many Gears were stolen. Kojiro boarded one of the more advanced Gears after his superior officer was killed, and managed to drive off the aggressors. However, during the attack, his eye was wounded beyond repair. The surgeon assigned to Kojiro was slightly mad, and having a glimse at Kojiro's papers, decided to "enhance" Kojiro's eye, rather than give him a normal substitute. While Kojiro actually liked having the ability to "see" beyond, and to analyze machines merely by looking at them.
And throughout his life, Kojiro has been quite an avid computer hacker. If not the best, he is pretty well known in the Internet by his Internet alias "Wolf".
Miscellaneous Kojiro is often afraid that he won't be able to handle the Engineer's Guild well. He knows that many people resent him for taking over, when there were other people who had been their longer, and even more dislike him for changing the EG. He doesn't think he'll be able to fill Skan's shoes, but tries very very hard to do so.
OOC Notes
Kojiro's pretty cool. I'm not too sure I like him, though... but he's fun to roleplay if just used sparingly!

"Ah, I wouldn't do that if I were you. Then again, I'm not you, so what are you gonna do?"
"Oh, man, this just isn't right..."
