Weaknesses: Because of his enormous skill in magical abilities, Amrick is very weak physically. Therefore, catching him off guard or waiting until he is out of magicka is the best way to take him down.
Attack Patterns: Amrick attacks with magic, and only with magic. He usually attacks aggressively, firing with his magic powerfully and always moving to attack from different angles. He is not stupid, however, and only uses magic of the strength he needs to not use up his magicka. If he is loosing, he will slowly retreat, still striking with his magic in vain attempts to win and not have to admit defeat.

Hobbies: Amrick enjoys building up his own magic, creating spells of his own, and showing anybody new to magic or the MMG 'how it is done'.
Likes: Amrick likes water, and prefers the cold to the hot, as do most people of his race. Amrick likes to show off his magic, as well.
Dislikes: Amrick dislikes fire and heat, but under the same circumstances as why he likes water. Also, Amrick does not like being talken back to, by a superior or not, and does not like looking dumb in front of others.
Fears: One of Amrick's greatest fears is losing a magical duel. Though it has not yet happened, Amrick takes extreme measures, including cheating, to make sure it does not.

Weaponary/Powers
Amrick's main weapon is the Water Trident, which is more of a sign of status than a weapon. He does not use weapons; he believes them to be barbaric and a 'lesser' form of fighting. Otherwise, he just fights with extremely powerful water and 'dark' magics.


History
Amrick, the Water Lord, only recently learned of his heritage. He was born an Undine - a water elemental. At the time, the Undine race was at war with the "Sharks", an anomaly of a race, a mix between a mermaid and a great shark. And since they were losing horribly, the Undine's only chance was to find a mage of enough strength to lead, train, and help destroy the Sharks. Since the strongest magic users had been killed already, one was 'artificially' made. A drug, used to greatly enhance magical potential, was injected in a yet unborn baby. Amrick was born this way. He grew up trained in the arts of magic, literally since birth.
This extensive training has caused him to be somewhat aloof from people, but his growing up being told he was to be one of the greatest water mages of all time made him very arrogant, proud, and unwilling to admit defeat in any form. His magic training also stinted his training in any sorts of weapons; causing him to be in a real situation if his magic is ever sealed (a difficult feat, but not impossible).
The Undines had a very difficult time both training Amrick with everything they had and holding off to the Sharks, but it was nontheless completed. Amrick did, in fact, take place in the war and did outstanding. Not only was it his first real battle, but he demonstrated an unusually high amount of magical abilities, even more than was hypothesized. After the war, Amrick was given his trident and sapphire, and lived for a long while with the Undines, known as one of the more powerful of their mages; perhaps the strongest of all.
After building up a large reputation; many came to learn the art of magic from him. Included among these was Ertai, Wizard Adept. After two years of training the wizard, Ertai turned on Amrick. After a very short battle, Ertai was killed. But not before Amrick's memory was wiped clean. He was 'replaced' with Ertai; keeping only his name and magic the same. Personality, power, looks, etc, all changed to fit the adept's.
As this new "Amrick, Wizard Adept", Amrick travelled the lands in search of a way to find his past. Then, upon meeting his icewolf familiar, Shimoyake, Amrick decided that the past can not be changed. There was no reason to find out what happened before he lost his memory. Amrick joined the MMG and rose through the ranks of the Water School with astonishing speed, and soon dominated as the teacher.
After a melee tournament, Amrick finally ached for the chance to see into his past. Amrick used his reward for winning the tournament and asked Kitra to see his past. With these new memories unlocked Amrick's dormant power. His once powerful magic was much, much higher, now. He now, after completely mastering the Water Magics, is learning Dark Magics to compliment the other.


OOC Notes
Amrick is OK. I originally made him just to have not only a stuck up character (arrogant chars are quite rare, actually), but to have an actual magic user. And, I succeeded. A bit to well, he's now a very high ranking mage, and a leader of the MMG. I don't RP with him very much, mostly just use him as an authority figure. But his fighting style, character, and magic abilities make him fun to roleplay for those instances when I do use him.


Miscellaneous
Amrick has something very close to a multiple personality. As his "original self", before the entire incident with Ertai, he was very humble and exciting, which was how Undine mages are almost always brought up to be. However, Ertai was an arrogant man. When Amrick became convinced HE was Ertai, he himself became arrogant. However, the arrogance did not leave when he reverted to his original Undine form. Instead, along with his new-found magical powers and the class of Meijin soon bestowed upon him, it grew.
He also tries to keep his past a secret, mostly because he is ashamed that such a low class mage could do such damage, and make him an entirely different person for so long.
