If you wish to verify the validity of the programs, you must look up the accrediting agency of your region or type of program to contact it concerning the college and its programs.

Some programs have specific types of approval that they need to be accepted in jobs and other institutions, i.e. Psychology and APA-Accreditation. For example, there are counseling programs that often need to be accredited by either the American Psychology Association (APA) or the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), so please keep those locations in mind for counseling and psychology related programs. Know what specialized accreditation other than the local/regional accreditation your program needs!
