Welcome to the film project, HELL AT 30 BELOW. A compelling, romantic Vietnam era drama about an abused young woman entangled in a love-triangle between two brother, who commits herself to a state mental hospital, to escape her controlling husband. However, HELL AT 30 BELOW is not a story that centers on "abuse", but rather takes us on a journey through time revealing one woman's struggle to find the will to live and reclaim her life as a 'free woman' and eventually... her way back to the man who holds the key to her heart. The screenplay is an adaptation from Karen's novel (both copyrighted under the same title)based on true events originating in the town of Duluth, Minnesota - a town notorious for its very cold winters! This deeply moving, timeless story written from the heart, will draw a wide (teens to adults) audience.
