Now Playing: The Adventures Of Sharkboy And Lavagirl
Based on the stories and dreams of Robert Rodriguez's (Director of Spy Kids and Sin City) son, Racer Rodriguez, Sharkboy And Lavagirl is a story about two heroes made up of dreams needing the boy who dreamed them's help. My personal views on this movie: Robert, for the love of God, WHY?! I mean, sure it's cute and loving to put your son's stories into Hollywood, seriously, I respect that, but COME ON! I'm sorry, he may be one of my favorite directors, but this film was apalling. (0 out of 5)

The rules of a trilogy: Chapter One sets the rules. Chapter Two bends the rules. But, with Chapter Three, FORGET THE RULES. Yes, that Ghostface killer is back is Wes Craven's amazing finale to his famed Scream Trilogy. Living in seclusion, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is found once again. She now must not only look out for what happens in the future, but must look deep into the past of her mother's grisly murder 3 years back. Now, this third killer claims that he killed Maureen Prescott, Sidney's mother. Now an accomplished author and reporter, Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox Arquette) is on the set of Stab 3, the new film based on the Woodsboro murders. She is reunited with her troubled relationship with Dewey Riley (David Arquette) and must face her rival, Jennifer Jolie (Parker Posey), who plays Gale in Stab 3, for her reputation and for Dewey. With the unnexpected return of Randy Meeks (Jamie Kennedy) in a video made before he was brutally murdered in Scream 2 about the rules of a trilogy. With Randy's help, Sidney now must take a stand and finish the grevious part of her life once and for all. The most terrifying scream is always the last! (5 out of 5)

Now Playing: Scream
From the horrifying mind of Wes Craven come the ultimatum in slasher movies. Scream is a surprisingly funny film with many great actors. This film begins with Casey Becker (Drew Barrymore) home alone one night and gets a mysterious phone call. The man's voice on the other side of the phone keeps asking her random questions to decide if her boyfriend should die. He gets killed and Casey makes a run for it and sadly doesn't make it. Now, one by one, bodies are dropping in the small town of Woodsboro, and Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) seems to be the main target. Her shifty boyfriend Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich) tries to help but keeps getting accused. Sidney's good friend, Randy Meeks (Jamie Kennedy), the movie freak, is always with her for comical support and for tips on how the killer is murdering everyone by following horror movie storylines. Life in Woodsboro is now one huge puzzle. Solving this mystery is going to be murder! Co-Stars Matthew Lillard, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette. (5 out of 5)

Now Playing: RENT
Based on the troubles of AIDS in New York City, RENT focuses on 8 friends who lose one of their own to AIDS. Based on the Broadway musical which defined a generation, RENT is the most entertaining and the most exhilarating and powerful film all year. Roger (Adam Pascal) romances Mimi (Rosario Dawson), yet with one too many fights. Mark (Anthony Rapp) documents "real life" in New York City. Angel (Wilson Jermaine Heredia) performs on the street with his powerful drumming skills. Collins (Jesse L. Martin) is a teacher at M.I.T. who wants to open up a restaurant in Santa Fe and comes home to his friends on Christmas Eve. Maureen (Idina Menzel) romances Joanne (Tracie Thoms), in a relationship where everyone is confused. And Benny (Taye Diggs), who used to live with Roger and Mark, is hated by the practically homeless people living in the apartment complex because he is forcing them pay last year's rent or else they get evicted. RENT is an amazing film about 8 people who find love, friendship, and the sorrow of AIDS. VIVA La Vie Boheme! (5 out of 5)

Now Playing: Waiting...

Set in a restaurant called Shenaniganz, this film follows the entire staff of the restaurant during one "kinda-normal" day in the life of a partying waiter or cook. Monty (Reynolds) is the alpha-male of the staff. He is the most perverted, yet lovable guy in the restaurant. Monty was going out with Serena (Faris), but she dumped him. Dean (Long) wants to quit his job and use his knowledge in something much greater. Then theres the rest of the staff: Naomi, the foul-mouthed, anger management-needed waitress; Calvin, the paranoid guy; Amy, Dean's girlfriend, who is the most innocent one of the staff; then there's Raddimus (Guzman), the head troublemaker of the kitchen staff. This is a hilarious, yet disgustingly perverted movie! (5 out of 5)

Now Playing: Scary Movie Trilogy

1. After Drew (Carmen Electra) is killed by a slasher movie psycho, Cindy (Anna Faris) and her friends suspect that it is because of a man that they ran over a year back. This is a hilaious horror-spoof movie with spoofs from SCREAM, I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, and THE MATRIX. (5 out of 5)

Now Playing: Blazing Saddles

A spoof of the western filming format, Blazing Saddles brings much more into the humor spotlight than just cowboys and Indians. Meet Bart (Little), the newly appointed Sheriff of Rock Ridge. Rock Ridge is your typical frontier town all the way to the incessant in-breeding, and general redneck bigotry. Being that Rock Ridge is full of hillbillys, the fact that Bart is black doesn't set well with the God-fearing folk. The comedy genius of Brooks swims throughout this whole film, but pay particular attention to the scene when Bart rides into town (to the tunes of the actual Count Basie Orchestra, playing in the tumbleweeds.) The movie really elevates into it's "can't miss" humor when Bart meets his soon-to-be sidekick, The Waco Kid (Wilder). Once they team up, the comedy follows in suit. Co-Starring Madeline Kahn and Harvey Korman. (5 stars out of 5)

Now Playing: Sin City
Right out of the pages of Frank Miller's graphic novels, Sin City is a gritty, heart-pounding film. The film begins with Marv (Mickey Rourke), a good-for-nothing lug who just wants to be appreciated, who meets the love of his life, Goldie (Jaime King), only to find her murdered that night by cannibalistic Kevin (Elijah Wood). Marv seeks his revenge by going on a killing spree. Next, we go to Dwight (Clive Owen), a nice guy with a gun in each hand, who calls on the girls of Old Town (Alexis Bledel, Devon Aoki), led by Gail (Rosario Dawson) to take care of Jack (Benicio Del Toro), a madman with a huge secret that turns Old Town into a battlefield. We then go to ex-cop John Hartigan, who, 8 years before, succeeded in stopping a crazy lunatic (Nick Stahl) from hurting 11 year old Nancy Callahan. Now, 8 years later, Hartigan realizes that the lunatic is after Nancy (now a 19 year old stripper played by Jessica Alba) once again. Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. With Special Guest Director Quentin Tarentino. Co-Starring Michael Clarke Duncan, Josh Hartnett, Powers Boothe, Rutger Hauer, and Brittany Murphy. (5 stars out of 5)
