Lornah
Sarson shouts at Ennosuke, one of Lord Matsura's retainers who wont take the
orders of a gajin!!
Lornah
fumes in the background while Ennosuke announces the arrival of Lord Matsura's
daughter, Emi.
Emi
arrives at her fathers private teahouse with disturbing news.
Ennosuke
contemplates the garden and the fall of the clan.....
Ennosuke
and Emi discuss the fall of the clan, and one last plot.....
Matsumaru,
after the shipwreck on Brixham's St Mary's Beach, England
Mia
Sarson is also on the beach looking for anything useful washed up from the
wreck...
Mia
finds Matsumaru, but thinks that he is dead...
While
waiting at St Marys Church to tell Reverend Brown about the body on the beach,
Mia has a chat with Ethel, the wife of a famous local pirate.
Mia
decides to sit in the sun outside the Church to wait for Reverend Brown
Reverend
Brown finally turns up and Mia tells him about the body on the beach.
Reverend
Brown asks Bob to bring his cart to the beach to collect the body.
Meanwhile,
in flashbacks as he regains concuosness, Matsumaru recalls his escape from
Japan
And
leaving on an English pirate ship, captained by Cedric Sarson
Wounded,
angry, and apprehensive, Matsumaru takes a last look at his homeland...
As
the ship leaves at sunset.....
By
the time Revernd Brown, Bob and Mia get to the beach, Matsumaru has gone.
Later,
that evening, Matsumaru has wandered into Brixham...
It
just so happens that it is the garden at Churston Inn, where Mia lives with
her foster parents, and works as a barmaid
Matsumaru
and Mia talk, and Mia offers him the job that her foster parents had vacant
at the inn
Over
the next week or so, Mia and Matsumaru become very good friends...
One
evening Matsumaru comes in while Jacob and Bob are looking over thier loot
from wrecking Cedrics ship. Matsumaru recognises his sword among the loot
and in rage threatens Jacob and leaves. Mia, in disgust leaves with him.
Badly
scared in case Matsumaru comes after her, Lornah tries to hold Mia hostage
The
next day at the Quarry, Matsumaru asks Mia if she would like to return to
Japan with him to rejoin the rebel faction, and marry him
Thier
talk is interrupted by Bob and Aaron who have come to kill Mia and Matsumaru
Instead
it is Bob and Aaron who get killed by one highly trained Japanese swordsman.....
And
very nearly does get killed by Matsumaru, but she decides to back off instead.
Back
in Japan, Matsumaru and Mia survey the ruins of the castle..
only
to find out that his fathers most trusted retainer, Gunbei is in fact a traitor..
They fight.......
Matsumaru
is killed in the fight.
one
of Gunbei's assassins kills Mia on the beach
And
moves in to kill the last surviving samurai loyal to Matsumaru
