The Zen Scrolls is the latest film as seen on the BBC, and in the local press by student film makers from Devon in England.
This fictional drama film is set in 1800 and tells the story of a young samurai warrior, Matsumaru Matsuura, who after a rebellion instigated by his father against the Shogun, flees Japan with a group of pirates. Arriving in Brixham, he finds himself involved in even a bigger conspiracy than the one he left behind....
