Alia and the Boy
Darken the Letters...Eliza has a message

written and directed by Dan Sherrill
and Wooden Box Theater

A literary Film

It's morning. But where is here, he wonders. The medication has finally worn off. Martina has successfully helped him remember the events following his accident, but still the actual accident remains a mystery. What was Alex's motivation? For the hopes of impressing Triangle, or himself?

It all seems familiar to them, the Iley castle. Alia's familiar castle, remodeled and restored, but with the idea of Universe 2 still fresh in all of their minds. They all want to believe that the breakfast they are sharing with people they havent't seem in six years is real or just another illusion. Was Martina really working for The Father, or part of a plan to murder Dan for the date of the End of the World?

Anda Quorell even walks close to Alia with a smile that she has missed. Chancellor Eve is in the middle of a long cry thinking about old times with Princess Avonlie. But, again, is this real? Could two or three women possibly duplicate the Universe as we know it? Wouldn't the idea shatter The Father and His Son? Wouldn't it put them right out of business?

Heaven is being prepared for war. While Alex was out of his chamber, the tracking device on his back sent a signal, weather he wanted it to or not, to the Inventors. Beings who supplied the formula for the creation of a physical planet. The one who currently houses places like Madrid, Spain and Paris, France.

Meanwhile fish in a nearby pond have died for no reason. Why? They all wonder. A damp red color infects another stream on another side of North America. None of which were authorized first by a certain King of Kings.

Channel 31 news is turned on by a random family in Kansas. For whatever reason they are glaring at images only seen in Christian science fiction books. Fish don't usually drop dead in the middle of a body of water. And why is no one catching on to what's going on, unless this not real either, he thinks as he continues to have nightmares following his accident.

Empress Alia-Wake, my student.

Aaron Deschanel-What is it?

Alia-I've gotten word. A third Universe has been constructed. No one knows. Just me.

Aaron-Does The Father know?

Alia-No. Patrick arrived with the news. He and Iva left early this morning to actually investigate Universe 2 and found the complete outline on a Third on their radar.

Aaron-How are we to counter?

Alia-Just lay on your bed and pretend that it's not happening. I'm at a loss myself. He thought Martina was going to help you.

Aaron-She helped Dan remember his accident. And if I might say so myself, she helped Dan find the strength to become me again. I have a hard time understanding her motivation in throwing two new Universe structures in The Father's face. It doesn't seem right. What will she do with all the space?

Alia-Patrick said he caught a glimpse of one of the Inventors. They are working with her and EyeCross.

Several hours into the night she walks past the door to Aaron's room to see him in bed. A tear falls from her eye, but no one else sees it but her. She walks closer to the door and slowly opens it to reveal him fast asleep, dreaming of what might become of Iley if there are now three separate universe patterns in the sky. Noticing his alarm clock reading 3:30am, she walks closer to his bed.

Mythaq danika-Why can't I just reveal myself to you in daylight, why does it always have to be this way?

She cries hard for him.

Mythaq dannika-Why can't you just wake up and see me, but I know your not ready. So I go back to Spain and wait for you to be ready so many times And I sit there in my room and I pray for your health, and I know it sounds sad to say but I miss you. I miss you so much. I wish you understood spanish and I undersood you. I'm not afraid to wake you up, I just don't want to hurt you. I know you've spent so long looking for me and I just want to be pretty enough for you when you wake up.

She loses control and places the palm of her hand on his cheek. It wakes him. Not as the character, but as Dan Sherrill.

Mythaq dannika-Shh. Don't say anything. You can't, you just can't. I visit you so many times wanting to wake you, but I never do. I get so close but them something makes me wait.

Dan Sherrill-What?

Mythaq dannika-Alia. I don't know.

Dan-Stay with me then. What would this big huge castle be without the soul mate I dream about wandering the halls and stopping at my room. But I have to wonder? Why I've never met you before? No one's ever mentioned your name before. In any of the stories.

Mythaq dannika-I'm just not sure that you're ready to know who I am, yet. I'm wearing a mask.

Dan-I know.

Mythaq dannika-What do you imagine that I look like? Or that I might do to you.

Surprising him she uses her strength to pick him up from his bed and violently throw him through the glass window of his room on the 5th floor of Alia's restored castle. The glass shatters and he falls. It feels like slow motion as he falls. Glass sticks to his skin and tears and bleeds all over his arms and legs. Then his heart skips several beats.

Julia hears the glass break from her room and rushes to see Dan laying in a pool of his own blood outside in the grass. She screams for help, but for some reason, no one comes. So she screams louder. Once more after that. For anyone to listen or react. She feels by now that if she screams any more that she might lose her voice in case trouble is hiding in the shadows.

She tears a piece of her dress and uses it to cover a large blood soaked part of Dan's left arm, which also appears to have been broken as a result of the fall. It fails to help. He takes one final breath before losing his ability to stay alert to his surroundings.

She notices a strange marking on his chest begin to form in blood. The name of an evil place. Blood forms two words on Dan's exposed chest. 'Universe Three.'

She wakes screaming. Alia races to her room, having been awakened by the sound of Julia's cry for help.

Julia-Check on Dan! Just do it! I saw him die outside!

Alia-I will.

The Empress of Iley runs down the candlelit hallway to Dan's room and finds him, asleep. She pauses then notices that he appears to be bleeding from the mouth, and a note is on his computer desk.

Dear Alia,

It's EyeCross, he's created another universe with Martina.

Jesus

She walks down the huge staircase and into the kitchen to answer her ringing telephone.

Jesus of Nazareth-Things are worse.

Alia-Is this really Iley that we are on?

Jesus-No. You're right in the heart of Universe 3.

Alia-How?

Jesus-Me and Dad are monitoring you and Dan. By the way, Dad switched him with another. The real Dan is sleeping in my front room, on the couch. We just had breakfast.

Alia-How do I believe you. Julia swears he was thrown from a window tonight and thought he died in her arms. What's going on here?

Jesus-Heaven is being evacuated as we speak. There's too much of a liability before a fourth universe is formatted and created we have to reason with the Inventors. Dad's losing control. Things have been smashed all night. He can't figure out how someone or something has gotten under his skin like EyeCross has. Close your eyes, Alia.

She does. And appears transported to Jesus and Brittany's apartment in Heaven.

Alia-It was sad. Julia was shouting at me to race to find Dan.

Dan-I'm right here. They had to change me with someone else to lure whoever was doing this to us.

Alia-So you're fine?

Dan-Yeah.

Alia-So we weren't ever really on Iley, were we?

Dan-No.

Alia-Damn.

Dan-I was checking my emails and I got a funny message today.

Alia-Dan, your bringing back Wooden Box Theater, how can it not happen that someone may flashback to 1998 and remember the name?

Dan-It was one of those letters you get from someone jealous of success.

Alia-Do you know who sent it?

Dan-Maybe. There's flyers up. You know, for the last story. It's cool to see them posted again.

Alia-Do you think the rest of the group saw them? I'm really happy for you. Finally after 6 years, Wooden Box Theater has for all practical purposes come back. That makes me happy. So what your saying is that someone saw them and was jealous?

Dan-Yeah.

Alia-That's funny. Just post more of your flyers. Do you remember that wrestling match on that one promotion where the guys started throwing chairs into the ring like mad. I mean I watched it on your video tape. It was cool. There was one chair in the ring, then like in 5 minutes there were about 25 steel chairs thrown in the ring. Think of it that way. Just throw more steel chairs in the ring than anyone else.

Jesus-I just got a call from The Father. He needs to see Aaron. Do you want to go and change and meet him in the main library.

Dan-Sure.

He waits for him with an important task. In fact the North Iley crew has been restored and is recruiting more members by the day. It's a large task, but with the woman who is running the signal out of a secret basement in the Communication District of Hell, anything is possible.

He is met in the library by Aaron Deschanel. This time, as his former title, Ambassador Aaron Deschanel of the North Iley Starfleet.

Aaron-What is this that you want me to endure?

The Father-We are trying to halt the creation of a fourth universe. Someone you know is leading a team deep in the heart of of L's lair. It's the only place down there that can send signals strong enough. It's a matter of cell phone reception, when you think about it. We had to find the right location. Luckily he has the power to send the signals past EyeCross and his blocking machines that could stop and read the printouts of our communication.

Aaron-Who is down there already?

The Father-Annie and Isabell. Wait, and also Ellie.

Aaron-It's been 6 years since I've seen them.

The Father-They know about your condition. I mean, the accident.

Aaron-That happened to Dan, not me. I'm fine.

The Father-Good. Blink.

He does.

Annie of Iley-You're here quick.

Aaron-I was sent by The Father.

Isabell-Hey Aaron.

Aaron-Hi.

Ellie-You know why we asked you to come down here? L stayed up all night trying to find the right signal. He's nice. Actually he made all of us breakfast this morning.

L walks through the door and sits down next to Dan and Ellie.

Aaron-What's the story on Universe 3?

L-Not much of a story you can tell someone sitting down, you have to see it on a radar and be horrified for it to really sink in, you know? Here take this earphone, put it in your ear. Keep it there for the next 45 minutes.

Aaron-What is it?

L-The CD signal of the record Dan was listening to in his car during the accident. See if it triggers anything. You know, maybe hearing the music for the first time since the accident may bring something back. I mean since he never fell asleep his ears were still open, right? Even if you do have a concussion, it doesn't screw with your ears, I don't think.

Suddenly, they both sense something walk by the communication room.

L-What was that?

Aaron-I didn't see it close enough.

Then it leaps through the glass walls of the room and keeps running at record speed down the hallways of the basement.

L-Damn.

Aaron-That looked just like a...

L-It was. I need to talk to The Father. Quick, Annie, hand me your cell phone.

She does. He dials a differen't number first.

Admiral Osterly-Yes?

L-Listen to me you son of a bitch, get that 'thing' out of my territory.

He hears EyeCross in the background talking to Collette.

L-So the whole gang is there. You guys forget who I am and what The Father allows me to do. All I have to do is ask.

Admiral Osterly-Then do it. Come here. Bring the kitchen sink. You know fire can't hurt me.

L-I know.

Admiral Osterly-I have the blessing of the court system in Spain on my side.

L-Great, so you can physically remove me from Hell only to keep me in a jail cell in Spain. Try again.

Admiral Osterly-It easy. You'd be charged with everything known to man.

L-There's a reason I'm down here looking after these people.

Admiral Osterly-What if The Inventors were looking for you, what then? Would you surrender their land back to them? Or didn't The Father tell you that your planet, and Heaven and also Earth were born from the same formula. He got it from them. And now they want it back. His lease is up.

L-I'm sure he has a plan to win.

Admiral Osterly-Don't be too sure of that. The Inventors have sat back idle for way too long.

L-This is nonesense. How do they know.

Admiral Osterly-Didn't you get a good look at the creature that walked by your communication room?

L-Yeah but it was just a regular roadside animal. People see them all the time. People even swerve off roads to avoid hitting them with their cars. What of it. I'm surprised that it didn't burn to a crisp down here. Did you send it down here?

Admiral Osterly-You ask too many questions. Let me ask you one now. Why do you think drivers are terrified of them? And why do they respond so well to drivers and their headlights? What is it about headlights on a car that attracts them out of whatever forest they're hiding out in. One creature was not originally intended to have been created.

L motions for Ellie to get The Father down there and quick.

Admiral Osterly-Go ahead, tell him. The Inventors needed a way to monitor Earth's progress from out of The Father's clutches. A violent creature was born. Check your newspapers. I dare you. How many accidents a year are caused by their attacks. They have a much differen't thought process. Violence. Why do they respond so well to headlights on a car, I ask you? I dare you to answer? Ask The Father when he gets there.

He arrives just as the Admiral hangs up his cell phone.

The Father-What is it? What's wrong?

L-It was Admiral Osterly.

The Father-On your cell?

L-He told me a lot.

The Father-Whatever he told you was a lie.

L-Was it?

The Father-You're too easily controlled by rumors.

L-I'm not sorry for asking that, but I think we need to investigate. A creature is loose down here. We all saw it walk by the room here.

Annie-You guys look, I see it. It's resting.

With a flashlight, she leads them to the spot where it is sleeping. On the ground, in front of one of the cells.

Annie-Where are we anyway, what level, and why would this 'thing' choose to sleep here in front of this empty cell.

L-It's not supposed to be empty.

Annie-Who's missing?

L-EyeCross. It's saved for him.

Annie-Why isn't he in there?

L-It's reserved for him. Let's just keep it at that. I have a personal issue with him.

Annie-It's okay. All in time, I'm sure. We have to find the Ileys before Universe 4 is finished.

L-Or else?

Annie-Bad things will happen.

L-Like what, don't keep me in the dark here.

Annie-The Seven Seals will be found and broken. You know the rest.

L-The chain of events will cause the End of the World. Against The Father's wishes. How could anyone do that?

Annie-Dan wouldn't give up the date. They want to cause it themselves, but they can't find the Seals.

L-Where are they?

Annie-They're safe. I mean if one or two are found, then no big deal, but how would anyone know they had the real ones or not. You have to be a tough cookie to find all seven.

L-What do we do with this creature?

Annie-I could sell it for the meat back on Earth, but I don't want to. I'd like someone to examine it. It's part of a crime scene. It lept through a glass wall and into a room full of signals and computers. We can't risk any damages.

L-So The Father has everything covered. About a Fourth Universe.

Annie-He likes the competition. I wouldn't put it past him. We have to steal the formula. And make sure the Seven Seals, the real ones, are not found. Jesus has gone to the hiding place with some of the Ileys, to keep the location a secret. People don't realise that he carried them around with him, everywhere he went.

L-When we was on Earth.

Annie-No one would think to check him, the Bible hadn't been written yet, for a lot of years. Did any of the writers ever see him take a shower? I don't think so.

The creature wakes. Senses their presence and begins to growl. It rises to all four legs and remains calm. This startles L and Annie. Ellie walks closer with a camera and a medical tool to get a blood sample from it. It sees the needle. It's mouth moves.

Annie-What's happening?

#6512-Transmit the location of the First Seal.

Ellie drops her camera at the sight of the creature speaking with its mouth. They have all frozen in their tracks.

It speaks again.

#6512-Surprised, are you? You just assume we can't talk because you can't hear us. EyeCross is one of us. He had a hand in creating us. He's not human. We are left here. Why do you think we are drawn to headlights on cars. We are trying to get home. The lights remind us of something. Our ride home. When we realise its just a driver, we attack him. It's our nature. When the lights come out of the sky, we attempt to communicate. It's our ride home. Some throw themselves in front of the cars hoping they'd rather die bleeding all over the cars than spend any more time away from family.

It collapses. As if its revelation was sent also as a lure. A dangerous lure, that almost makes sense to them.

Aaron-It didn't work. The headphone thing.

L-Get back, Aaron. You don't want to see this.

Aaron-What's going on?

L-Just get back!

Aaron-But there's blood everywhere.

He dares to walk closer. Then another one is seen. And another one. Now 15 of them appear. They are walking close the body of #6512.

#2314-Don't be scared. Be lucky.

Aaron-L? How are they fought? Are they a threat to us?

L-What do you think?

The Father walks peacefully, but furious down the hallway takes one look at the escaped animals that are terrorizing His friends and closes his eyes. Searching his thought patterns he calls to His Son, deep in the heart of the Holy Land.

Jesus-They're still here.

The Father-Good. I need to clean up here. I'll be back in a minute. I'm coming there to help you.

Jesus-The real ones are here.

He takes one more look at the animals and closes his eyes. Longer this time. Then opens them. It's so tempting to believe. One of them lay in a puddle of his own blood having just rammed his head into the cell bars. Over and over.

For ten minutes he keeps his eyes closed shut tight. Opens them later. Opens his mouth with rage.

The Father-Osterly! My animals and my people will not be bait for you learning the date of the End of the World! Bring the Inventors here! And Katelyn! She's missing!

A voice is heard coming from down the hallway, he has snuck into Hell. Carrying a shard of broken glass he walks up close to The Father.

Admiral Osterly-Then fight me. I know that's what you want to do to me. Destroy me. I can't be destroyed, don't you understand that now. Tell me the Date that you will End the World, or I will have my own little End Times party. With cake and ice cream.

The Father-You can't do anything without the Seals. All of them. Get out of my shrouded planet! All I have to do is frame you for assault and your name will mean nothing anywhere. Especially in Spain. In that courtroom. I will be your replacement! Marcus and Thoma will listen to me. They're in trouble because of me and my friend knows the outcome! And the date! So Triangle even went so far as to lure my friend, Alex, out of his chamber to try to push my other friend off a country road in his car, then roll the car, and land him in the hospital. Dare you! Just dare you! You will know who I am sooner or later! If you can't figure it out. I didn't need to paste over another universe to make mine. I did it first!

Admiral Osterly-I don't have Katelyn! EyeCross does, and he'll never give her back to you, until you turn over the Seals to him and Collette!

He vanishes without warning. Taking with him all of the numbered animals.

Ellie-Yeah but I still got a blood sample. We're here to help you, my friend.

The Father-I know. The Ileys are faithful believers in me.

Aaron-Don't ever doubt that.

Aaron-Don't ever doubt that. I am so in awe of you all of the time. The planet you created for us to live on is beautiful. Well most of it. There are parts that aren't so great. I wouldn't want to jump from one universe to another if I made a few mistakes on this one. They might lure the others, but not me. I've been a Christian my whole life. It means something to me to say that to someone. For me to say, Hey I'm a Christian. That should be important to people. Somehow that word gets screwy in definition these days. It should mean something differen't than just having the best collection of Christian CD's, you know. Or who goes to church more.

Annie-He's right. My friend, being a Christian should mean that you will defend God at every turn, and would walk through the upstairs of a burning house if you knew Jesus was in there and needed our help. That's a Christian. Someone that without any hesitation would put their body at risk and their hearts to save you if you needed our help. Luckily, it's not often, or ever, but if the time came, would these people with their neat praise and worship CD's spring into action if someone or some thing was holding Your demise in front of you? What do you think? Trust me this EyeCross fellow is no match for you, and don't you go thinking that he is. You hear? Or I'll kick you in the side of your kneecap and you don't want that. (Smiles)

The Father-Thanks.

L-Me, too. I'm here until the bitter end. I mean what else do I have to do down here. The cellmates pretty much watch themselves. I'm with you guys. Katelyn will be found, I promise. I know how much you love her.

The Father-I created a planet for her, then found her and now she's gone again. Just make sure the pupils inside my eyeballs don't change to red. Keep me calm and I'll be fine. Wait! Something's happening to me!

Annie-Fight it!

The Father-I can't!

Annie-Fight it, my dear!

The Father-I feel light headed. My powers are draining!

Ellie-What are we going to do? We have to leave to find out who's doing this, but we can't just leave him here. It's not like I can take a blood sample from Him, you know.

L-Wait. I'll put him into the cell. The one where EyeCross should be. His powers are down enough for us to just carry him in there. I hate to leave you, my friend, but this is serious.

Ellie briefly holds His hand as they make their way to L's shuttle, but then she decides to stay behind and say goodbye to her sister, Isabell, then walks back to clean up from the broken glass wall. She uses the cell phone to call on someone who may be able to figure this whole nightmare out.

Greagory Lorelie'je-He's dreaming all of this, just like Dan flying out of the window of Alia's castle. It didn't happen. Someone drugged The Father. I don't know how but he's imagining all of this. Get back to that cell and wake him up. None of this is real. It's part of a lure.

Ellie-We saw a creature that doesnt normally talk, I mean an animal some drivers are scared to death to run into. It spoke. It was really scary to me so don't tell me it's not real.

Greagory-Me and Roxanne will be there in a minute or two. I've got my comlink so you'll have to ask the guards to go easy on us when we try to come down. I've been keeping an eye on you guys for a while now. It's the same thing Dan and Natalya was given from Martina. Get back into the cell and wake Him up out of the dream he's having about the demise of His friends and make sure no one knows about this, okay?

Ellie-I will.

She receives a tap on her shoulder.

Eliza-I can help you. The drug is strong.

Ellie-Oh my God you're burned so badly.

Eliza-Don't look at my appearence, just my quick thinking. I have the key. Let's open the cell door and take a look around, I always wondered why L would keep this cell reserved for EyeCross.

She easily uses the key and opens the door. The Father lay face down on the ground, almost motionless.

Eliza-I'm the least likely person down here to have the keys to all the neat stuff, like all the cells.

Greagory and Roxanne have arrived and let in by the guards.

Roxanne Lorelie'je-This whole place gives me the creeps. Now I know why people are afraid to come here when they die. I don't think I like being here and I'm still alive and able to walk around unharmed.

Greagory-Just don't leave my view, I don't want anything down here to attack you.

Eliza-The things down here are not trained to fight. It's peaceful. You have the option of buying a gun down here and ammunition but it can't hurt people who are already dead, you know. It's sad to walk the halls at night. My job is to monitor and to pass out newspapers and magazines to the prisoners. It bothers me a lot. Even my flesh is burned, but not too much that I can't think for myself. Everyone is here for a reason. I choose to be hooked up to a monitor and pretend to not be able to talk. Who wouldn't? With everyone down here wanting to leave, I give up sometimes and just sit there and burn. What hurts worse is that I'm stuck down here. Forever. I know it because I've replayed my thoughts over and over again. I murdered someone close to me in cold blood, and I got sentenced here by The Father. He still visits everyone down here. Actually quite often. He loves us with all of his heart, but we made our beds and in the case of everyone down here, it's a permenant one.

Roxanne-I'm sorry.

Eliza-It makes me cry so much. I had a choice. Do I kill my boyfriend and steal his wallet full of $100 bills. There were 15 of them. But he came at me with violence and had his hand around my throat ready to kill me. I don't know, I settled for him. I went for the bad boy image, and he snapped. I don't know why I stayed. He used to beat me until I cried. I was forced to hand over my money and be dependant on him for everything and I snapped, too. I'd had enough. He came home drunk one night and I had taken so much abuse from him that I couldn't take it anymore. The sad part is that the money was mine to start with. There was cocaine all over the apartment. It was raining that night. We got into a fight. He was cheating on me. Damn him. Raq was so nice sometimes. When we first met, but not after he moved in with me. You see, everyone down here has a story. Mine's just a lot sadder because my self defense landed me in a burning cell forever.

Greagory-Not all men are bad, Eliza.

Eliza-No they aren't, just the ones who take pride in their spousal abuse. People like to say you become a product of your own environment.

He wakes.

The Father-That's a myth.

Ellie-Hey, it worked.

The Father-Yeah. I think I just needed to hear my friends and a little bit of friendly talking did it. It usually works just like an alarm clock when I've overslept. You guys mean so much to me. And thanks Greagory and Roxanne for coming to see me.

Greagory-It's no problem. I have something for you. The liquid cure for the drug you were given. My major in college was chemistry. I was monitoring the whole ordeal on Orla so we figured one of you guys would end up calling me.

The Father is now able to stand on his own, as he is helped up by Annie and Ellie.

The Father-The power of friendship never seems to have an end. Wait, where's Aaron?

Greagory-When me and Roxanne were walking in we noticed a shuttle was missing.

The Father-Missing? L, Isabell and Aaron must have left at some point.

Ellie-They did.

The Father-They're so dedicated to me. L in particular. I know what happened all those years ago, but I need him down here. He's too important and shows these people down here such grace that I can't bring him into Heaven. He's the only one they'll listen to and they can relate to him. He's down here for life, and so are they. I mean I come down to visit about every night, don't I Eliza?

Eliza-You do. It makes me feel special, like Heaven is looking me in the eye, it makes me feel light headed, but then every night you go home to Heaven and I am just left here to recount one night that I murdered him over and over. I could get a gun and shoot holes in my body but I know I will not die. I'll just give up trying. This punishment is eternal, I know this to be true.

The Father-I almost can't stand the fire down here. It's sad, and you know as well as I do that I walk back to Heaven and cry puddles of tears for everyone who lives down here, especially the ones in your level. I can only bring so many fruit baskets and flowers to cheer you all up, but I just can't look past the fact that you murdered someone.

Eliza-I know. I don't expect you to. It was my motive at that split second to fire the gun at his eye and take his money. I had no idea that someone was watching me, I didn't believe in You then, as I do now. I know what's going on and I accept my sentence from you. I wouldn't want to just get up and leave here, no matter how bad I've been burned by L and the heat down here, I wouldn't want to just jump from one Universe to another every time I make a mistake. I'd be miserable. Those people are going to destroy themselves in the process of trying to have the perfect day. Or the perfect date. That's going to be the lure. EyeCross, Osterly and Collete are just out for the same things that we all wish we had. A new start. A way to erase the bad things that have happened to us and start over. It doesn't work that way. Why can't they see that?

The Father-Some people want everything perfect. A perfect love. A perfect date when you score with the cutest chick, a perfect baked carrot cake, a perfect clean spotless three story $300,000 dollar house. A perfect kiss. A perfect church service in My name. If you move or run away from mistakes nothing will be felt. You won't have any emotion. You won't learn anything. Imagine learning to ride a bike and everytime you fall off you go out and buy a new bike and move to a new town. Does that ever work? But there's always going to be that temptation to go back and rewind a few things you did in your life only to start over. That's the problem with the Ileys. They're a little scared about being on North Iley again because of the hurt it represents, but see everytime they ran away from it weather it was on Kaesa or C'ila, it didn't get any better. Best to take a lawnmower to the zombies, I guess. No one can just erase someone's memory. I mean once Dan woke up he might not have remembered the accident but he still remembered everything that lead up to it. Like lost loves or who his Mom and Dad are, you know. The setting doesn't matter. The person's heart does. Are you, Ellie, and the rest of the Ileys ready emotionaly to return to Iley. It is reconstructed. The flyers announcing it are waiting for you. They have been posted. People are realizing that what was once sitting on a shelf has been dusted off once again, this time for good.

Once He is home safe He walks around His house aimlessly trying to think of a way to combat His enemy. Realizing that He has to break the news of the threat to the rest of His companions He calls a meeting in His library to go over safety precautions for Heaven.

Several Ileys who were called first show up to lend their help. Thinking that Jesus has secured the location of the Seals, He declines to cause any trouble for His Son's mission there by not drawing attention to Himself by being seen near the former home of Jesus.

She has, however, joined him. Scaring Him at first, but once He realizes her importance, He is calm again.

Jesus-I don't understand why you are here, I'm actually ready to leave. I have the needed finding and I want to get home before dark.

Rachel Deschanel-How is he?

Jesus-Aaron?

Rachel-Yeah. I feel bad.

Jesus-Why?

Rachel-The last time I saw him he was really upset and wanted to talk to me but I told him I couldn't and pretty much slammed the door in his face. Can we talk, I mean here, doesn't anywhere around here serve coffee? Or howabout a beer? I know you don't drink, but do you mind if I do?

Jesus-Well, we're not driving anywhere.

They make their way to a nearbye restaurant and are seated, and their order is placed. The waitress looks puzzled as Jesus sits calmly and drinking his glass of water.

Dyani-You look familiar.

Jesus-I haven't been here in a while, maybe you have me confused with someone else.

Dyani-Maybe.

Rachel-Close call. I found something.

Jesus-What?

Rachel-I was going through stuff to put in a garage sale and I found a key.

Jesus-The one he gave you to his room at Alia's castle?

Rachel-Yeah. I saw some signs for 'Alia and the Boy' they brought back memories, you know. It's strange seeing them around. First time in what 6 years. I'm not sure what to do with this key. It's not so much the key itself, but what it represented to him. He gave this to me free of charge, just like his heart. I guess you just meet people sometimes at the wrong time. At the right time, it would've seemed like an awesome thing to do, considering the drama back then, but what would I have found if I had ever used it?

She walks back to the chef.

Dyani-I swear I know that guy sitting there with that woman, Cabe, can you take his soda to him so you can get a look at him. He looks about 30 or so. I know I've seen him. Somewhere.

Cabe-Sure and try to lay off the astrology and paranormal stuff, you might scare my customers.

He himself walks the two sodas to the table and stops dead in his tracks, but again doesn't know where he can place the man sitting in front of him.

Cabe-You'll have to excuse my waitress, she's big on all this supernatural stuff. Kept telling me that she knows you. As long as you don't cause any trouble here, you're welcome to stay. I think these people with even a fraction of belief in the paranormal should just get a life myself. Especially these people who dress up like characters from horrible science fiction movies where they slow down and speed up the film. Last time I checked there was only one Halloween. I get a lot of nutcases in here, well, since we're open 24 hours. You get all kinds here.

She bolts at record speed from the kitchen with Jesus and Rachel's orders.

Dyani-I still think I've seen you before? How old are you?

Rachel-Look lady, would you lay off my friend for a minute, were trying to have a peaceful conversation and so far unfortunatly we're now talking about, well nevermind.

Dyani and Cabe walk back with him reprimanding her for bothering his paying customers. Suddenly it comes over her. She knows now who He is. Against Cabe's wishes she walks back to their table, which seriously upsets Rachel, which has tried to tell Jesus her feelings about 4 times now and every time she has been distracted by these people.

Rachel-Here she comes again. I can't believe this.

Jesus-It's okay. Here put these in your purse just in case.

He hands her all 7 of the Seals. Rachel's purse is closed tight.

Jesus-Listen, I don't mean to sound upset, because I'm not, but the lady and I are here to eat and to talk, and I'm sorry if it sounds this way but I'm not really having that great of a day either.

She looks at him.

Dyani-The holes are still there, on your hands aren't they, from the cross?

Against His initial feeling she takes His hand in hers and uses her fingertips to find the spots still discolored after all these years from the hideous crucifixion he endured more than 2,000 years ago. There's several minutes of silence, which surprisingly go unnoticed by everyone else eating there.

Dyani-I cried at that movie they just made about you. My whole family did.

She sits next to him in the booth, facing Rachel, who has decided to take a walk on her own assuming that Jesus can defend himself if a fight breaks out.

Dyani-Can I tell my boss that you're here?

Jesus-You probably shouldn't. I don't want to cause a loud roar when everyone here realizes who is drinking cherry soda with my friend.

Dyani-Who's the lady you're here with?

Jesus-She's a friend. An exwife of another friend. Bad timing with them. They were probably meant to be, but timing was way off. (Deep Breath) Not much of my house left? What about the place where I was killed? Can you take me there? I know the cross won't be there, and there's probably fighting going on but I think I would like to set foot there one more time. To see if it brings anything back.

Dyani-Wait a minute, okay, let me see if I can get a map.

She makes her way back, this time with Cabe.

Cabe-I understand. My wife can handle the restaurant for a couple of days. I'm not going to reveal who you are but just let me warn you, Dyani knew exactly who you were when you walked in, just be careful, alright.

Rachel walks back to the booth and sits down.

Rachel-Did I miss something?

Jesus-These two are going to take me to the place where I was killed.

She takes her glass of soda and smashes it against the wall of the restaurant.

Rachel-Why on Earth would you want to go there!

Jesus-Same reason Dan wanted to go back to the crashsite after his accident. He just wanted to walk around it. And we're here anyway.

Rachel-I don't know. Do you want to tell your Dad?

Jesus-I don't think I want to. This is for me.

He reaches for his cell phone and makes a call.

She answers, but is surprised since they haven't seen each other in a few months.

Mary of Nazareth-Yes?

Jesus-Mom, I want ask you something?

Mary-Yes, dear? And why haven't you called in a while. I was starting to worry.

Jesus-We were helping Dan in the hospital. Long story, I'm fine. Something's up, in Heaven. It's something to do with Dad creating Earth, Heaven and Hell. I'm just here to make sure the Seven Seals are safe.

Mary-Are they?

Jesus-Yeah. (Crying) I guess it's just being back here. It's hard to revisit the places you used to hang out before you died brutally on a cross on some mountain. I'm going there.

Mary-Where?

Jesus-I want to walk around the place where I was killed. It's just something I have to do. Rachel Deschanel is with me, plus I have a ride there with two people we just met. They seem nice.

Mary-Aren't you afraid people will recognize you?

Jesus-It doesn't matter.

Mary-I can't stop you, wait, give me a few minutes, and I'll transport myself to where you are. Turn your monitor watch on, so I can track you.

Jesus-You understand about this, right?

Mary-I do, my Son. I don't know what you are looking to gain after all these years, but as long as you know that I sat there and cried the entire time. It was hard to watch, but in the same way you watch a horror movie, it's scary to see, but there's that feeling that you shouldn't take your eyes off of it in case something dramatic happens and you miss it. I'd rather be there with you, holding your hand as you recount certain things. I mean your Dad can replay the scene for you a dozen times, but I know what you mean about wanting to stand there, and even if it's a tall building now, it might put some of the nightmares to rest.

Dyani walks back to the table.

Jesus-Mom, I need to go, the waitress who's taking us there is coming back with our order.

Mary-I'll be there in 5 minutes. Just need to find something nice to wear. Let me get directions and I'll find you.

Jesus-Thanks again.

He wakes from his sleep. To the sight of two men standing near the bed where he is laying.

Marcus-You're being fed lies about us. About yourself.

The Father-What do you mean. I was investigating. I was in Hell with L and the Ileys.

Thoma-No you weren't.

The Father-Where am I?

Marcus-In Madrid. We found you passed out.

The Father-The whole thing didn't happen? Jesus was supposed to be in Nazareth with the Seals. And Mary.

Marcus-You were out cold, don't you see the blood all over your chest?

The Father-I'm not supposed to be here. Marcus, tell me who did this to me?

Marcus-We were just walking by here. How do you know my name?

The Father-Wait, what day is it?

Marcus-June 17th.

The Father-You are on trial, right? Both of you.

Marcus-I'm sorry. I do know who you are. We drugged you.

The Father-Why?

Marcus-We had to get you down here. They are predicting that the world is going end, my friend and I are christians.

The Father-Who made me bleed?

Thoma-I don't know. You kept talking about deer and how they link up to strange beings, then blood started coming out of your chest, my friend.

The Father-It's starting to hurt.

He closes his eyes.

The Father-My Son, where are you?

He stands, to everyone's surprise at the exact location of His death. With Mary by his side, as well as Rachel, and their new friends.

Dyani-Is anything coming back? Anything flashing by you?

Jesus closes His eyes, then collapses.

Jesus-Dad is in Spain. How did he get there? I thought he was with the Ileys. We should go.

Dyani-You're Dad? You mean The Father? Wow. So I could meet him, if I came with you.

Jesus-Rachel, do you have the Seals?

Rachel-Yeah, I do.

Jesus-Good. Mom are you ready to go?

Mary-I bet Osterly is behind this.

Jesus-Dad was in Heaven holding a meeting. How would he end up in Spain?

He closes his eyes to continue his thought signal.

The Father-I'm in Spain. I need help. Marcus and Thoma are here.

Jesus-They must not take you anywhere. Dad?

The Father-Yes, Son?

Jesus-Be careful. Please.

He opens His eyes next to the site of his death.

Dyani-Your Dad is going to be okay, right?

Jesus-If no one recognizes him. I thought no one would recognize me either until me and my friend went to eat.

Cabe-I'm sorry. We should've left you alone, but I thought well they didn't exactly have addresses back then. You're taking about 2,000 years ago in a small town. We just didn't know you could find the exact location of this stuff with as much building and rebuilding that has taken place since you hung out here. Does any of this stuff look familiar to you?

Jesus-Some of the buildings look easy to do. That's the carpenter in me talking though. You should see my apartment I share in Heaven with my friend Brittany. I just put some new shelves up for our records and CD's. She likes the newer pop music, and I tend to stay with the live recordings we make at church on Saturdays and Sundays. But it looks really cool. So this is where you know for a fact that it happened. The more I walk around I am trying to picture stuff in my head, but it's been 2,000 years, you're right. Hard for me to even remember all of. Do you know that I play the electric guitar in our church band.

Mary-And you're very good. It's nice to see you up there playing along with them, it makes me proud of you.

Cabe-It doesn't say that in the Bible.

Mary-How many hours are in 30 years? Take how long you could read the gospels by themselves, say even two hours each, now times that by how many sets of two hours in one day that you could read the gospel of let's see, Luke. Say you can read Luke cover to cover in two hours outloud. Now, take that times it by two. You could read the Book of Luke 12 times in one day. My Son was alive for 30 some years. Now remember the amount of dialogue in each of the gospels. Then you'll know what I mean. It's not written in 'play' form like 'Alia and the Boy' it's written as a narrative or as some people say as a set of 'letters' to the various churches and then was finally compiled into the modern 'Bible' but ask my Son how many reporters were compiling direct quotes from Him during His living years? There weren't TV News Broadcasts or newspapers back then to read. Everything was word of mouth, or a pretty good memory. Do you remember everything someone said to you over a span of say 30 years? You have to be an ace on one of those gameshows to memorize that much dialogue. That's why the Bible doesn't contain every single thing He said, did or thought about. I mean, hey, it's got the important stuff, but not much about his personality. So not many people really Know my Son.

Jesus-Most of the time people didn't sit in My audiences with pads of paper waiting for me to say something cool and to scribble it down like a court typist does. I was just happy to have them there, if they wanted to take notes, then fine, but they didn't have to I guess I would have rather they just take it all in at the time and apply it to their lives rather than just write everything down. I mean anyone could've come up to me after one of the sermons and asked me to repeat something to them and then look at Me with an 'Okay, I get it' expression on their face.

His comlink rings, as Dyani and Cabe have no idea what's going on and why there's all this drama with Him.

L-Me and the Ileys are inside EyeCross and his people's territory. It's really scary. Eliza and the others are in a separate shuttle orbiting this strange planet in case we have trouble. More Ileys from The Father's meeting are in another ship orbiting Iley for security measures. And no one can find Your Dad have you heard from Him?

Jesus-He's in Spain with Marcus and Thoma.

L-It must be before June 19th. I'm sending help. Try to get the date that he's entered into and I'll find someone to go there and bring Him back.

Rachel-Do you need me to go? I am the President of Iley, in case anyone forgot.

Jesus-I need to talk to you about that.

Rachel-Why?

Jesus-L, listen to me, find someone to go to Spain and to find Dad, he's safe with Marcus and Thoma, but depending on what day they are in, they might not recognize Him, until as we all know two days later they see His face in the clouds and the world ends for good.

L-I talked to Osterly, you know, he kept rattling on about aliens and how deer are alien beings, and one of them actually talked and scared me to death cause it broke through a glass wall near where Eliza lives.

Jesus-It's the power of hypnosis. He put you under a spell over the phone. All of you guys who were down there. Ask Eliza why her and Osterly broke up and how long she's spoken fluent Spanish, and you'll find your answer. As far as your other problem with the Professor EyeCross. He's dangerous, but he doesn't like Osterly either.

L-How much doesn't he like him?

Jesus-Enough to kill him.

L-What's wrong with Your Dad being in Spain?

Jesus-If you saw Santa's face before Christmas. I mean THE Santa Claus who lives in the North Pole according to thousands of kids every year, would you still be surprised on Christmas Day? Same thing. How can you fear someone like My Father is you see Him every day at church. There's got to be an element of shock. No one knows quite the extent of the wrath of His fury. No one. Not even I can comprehend it. Is Aaron with you? And Annie?

L-Yeah, we're actually walking down a huge walkway. I parked the shuttle close to where we are. No one said anything when we landed so I figured we'd be okay. The others as I've just been told are orbiting close so that we don't have any trouble. I let Eliza out for a little while for being so helpful. She's with one team and Greagoy and Roxanne are with another shuttle team. Reception is cutting out, keep your comlink on, okay?

Jesus-I'll do that.

L-And by the way, don't go looking for trouble in Nazareth. Just make sure not that many people recognize you, it could disrupt a lot. Where are you?

Jesus-The sight of my death. I want to see the tomb.

L-Why?

Jesus-It's been so long.

L-Be careful.

Once again they are back in the car. Rachel, Mary, Jesus and their friends. The map is examined and the locaton is found.

Something troubles Him.

Jesus-Wait, can we pull over? I don't feel good.

Mary-What's wrong? Are you sick?

Jesus-Maybe it was something I ate. I guess I'm not used to the food here. It's been a while.

Cabe-You didn't eat very much, though.

He tries to hold it back.

Mary-Cabe pull over!

The car swerves off the road and comes to a stop. The door is opened and He begins to vomit on the side of the road.

Mary-Is there a doctor anywhere around here?

Dyani-Maybe, but how are we going to get him into a hospital since He is who we know Him as. Who will take Him.

Mary-I'll raise the roof off the place if they don't accept my Son.

She uses Jesus' cell phone to call for an ambulance.

Mary-Look we pulled over and he's puking His guts up.

Operator-Are you from around here?

She thinks to herself before answering.

Mary-I lived here and so did He. For several years.

Operator-Who's your family doctor, miss?

Mary-I don't have one. Neither does He. At home remedies win out usually rather than having to go the hospital and having to sit in the waiting room reading drab magazines until I want to fall asleep in the orange chairs that recline so I can just sit there and wait to see a nurse then a doctor then two hours later the real doctor who just wants to see my insurance card. Can you come?

Operator-Sure. What's your name for the phone log?

Mary-My name is Mary.

Operator-And the patient's name?

Mary-Duh. I mean. His name is Jesus. And he's not Spanish.

Operator-Right. We'll be there.

He turns to his associate.

Operator (Mart)-I just got the strangest call. The woman said her Son was sick on the side of the road and needed an ambulance.

Davis-What's so strange about that?

Mart-She said her name was Mary and that her Son Jesus was sick. Maybe food poisoning. The signal from their call was in about the right spot for them to be visiting...you know where. She also said her Son was not Spanish.

Davis-What's going on here. Who is that cell phone registered to?

He runs a trace.

Davis-Restricted caller. Damn caller ID. It only works half the time. Send the ambulance anyway. If it is who I think it is the driver will recognize him right off the bat.

Mart-Is Lewis a Christian?

The lights flash and sound. They are loud and at first the ambulance pulls up close to Cabe's car. The man gets out of the van and walks over to where Jesus is now laying on the ground in pain.

Lewis doesn't notice but Jesus is crying.

Lewis-So He just threw up at a moment's notice.

Cabe-It's my fault. He ate at my restaurant before we headed out here.

Lewis-Where is your place located so I can send someone to check the foods out that he ate.

Dyani-It's in Nazareth.

Lewis signals to his assistants as they strap him to a bed and lift him into the ambulance and shut the door to take him to a nearbye medical facility. Not knowing really who they have been called to rescue.

His cell phone rings.

Mart-Who did you just pick up, did you find anything specifically wrong with Him?

He looks to the back of the ambulance to see Mary by Jesus' side watching the nurse trying to find a vein to poke in order to start and I.V. in his left arm. She fails a few times which causes blood to rush out of His wrist, close to the cross wounds which appear on both of His hands.

Lewis-We can't find a proper vein to get an I.V. in Him. I'm not really sure. He hasn't said much.

Jesus' cell phone rings.

Mary-Don't answer it!

It rings again. Then again.

She finally decides to.

L-Where are you?

Mary-An ambulance, Jesus had a reaction to being on the road to the tomb. He threw up already. We had to call am ambulance to get Him something to calm Him down.

Suddenly He closes His eyes and tries to vomit again, only this time the nurse is there to hold a plastic bowl close His mouth to catch it. The bowl is filled with blood in several seconds. He doesn't speak. Only cries into the bowl already red with blood.

Nurse-Can't you drive any faster this man is puking up blood faster than I can keep it from getting all over my hands! You guys don't pay me enough to put up with puke being spit up at me!

Lewis-I'm driving as fast as I can, but keep him alert!

Nurse-But he's losing so much blood, I'm starting to get scared.

Just then they see something standing in front of the moving ambulance. Lewis tries to swerve as to not hit whatever was in front of his vehicle. They had been going 55 miles per hour with lights flashing and sirens screaming. He makes the call to Mart and Davis.

Davis-Something blocked the ambulance? This is getting stranger by the minute! You're on the Road of the Tomb. Did you get an I.V. or for that matter and ID of the man you're driving here?

Lewis-He's off the makeshift bed and still crying. He threw up blood a few minutes ago. I don't know how to help him. The woman with him took a strange phone call earlier. Something about a reaction He had to being here.

Davis-You're transporting the Son of God.

Lewis-You mean, I was. They seemd to have escaped once we crashed. It's just the nurse and I. But He's got blood all over His outfit, so He won't be too hard to find. I just think he didn't want to risk getting caught.

Dyani, Rachel and Cabe were following behind the ambulance and saw it crash into the lamp post.

Mary-My Son, what is wrong?

He he spits more blood out of His mouth and speaks.

Jesus-I can't seem to escape the nightmares.

Mary-I know.

She holds Him in her arms seeing the nurse and Lewis walk closer.

Lewis-I'm sorry we crashed. I swore that I saw something stand directly in front of the ambulance causing me to swerve and hit the lamp post.

Mary-What did it look like?

Lewis-It was an animal. It just stood there and let me hit it. Wouldn't it want to get out of the way. Those kind don't come around here much. More of them are over in Crystal Acres. They say they leap out in front of cars all the time causing damage to cars on the road. I just didn't think it would happen to me. I swear to God the thing just stood there, I thought I was seeing things. It didn't even put up a fight.

Mary-Is it still there?

Lewis-Yeah.

Mary-I want to examine it.

He leads her back to the site of the crash.

Mary-Osterly is close.

Lewis-Who?

Mary-I'm sorry. I didn't say anything.

Lewis-Are you that man's mother?

Mary-I am.

Lewis-Who is He?

Mary-Who do you say He is?

Lewis-I don't know, are you guys from around here?

Mary-I'm from Nazareth. I have a relative named Elizabeth. I have a Son. I gave birth to Him, but He was taken from me at a young age. I watched Him die one night. I had to wait to see Him again until I, too, perished.

Lewis-And He wanted to revisit His tomb? Is that what you're trying to tell me? Mary, listen to me, why would a deer block my ambulance from driving down the Road of the Tomb?

Mary-Someone put it there.

Lewis-Why?

Mary-Look, here it is.

She rolls up her sleeve and uses a tiny object to poke a hole into its heart. Blood sprays everywhere, which makes even Lewis uneasy, but lets her proceed anyway. To respect the animal, Lewis closes its eyes and says a little prayer for its soul to be near God.

Mary-I think I found it.

Lewis-What?

Mary-Its transmitter. This animal had one stuck the wall of its pulmonary semilunar valve. Here, look?

Lewis, noticing that she's holding a freshly punctured heart in her hands while the blood starts to dry on her hands, is feeling that this is not the first thing he wants to remember about this day.

She takes the object and puts it in her pocket.

Mary-Let's go. I think many more surprises await us once we arrive at the tomb. I'd rather Jesus be brought to a hospital in Nazareth anyway, that is where He grew up. I mean you spend 20 years somewhere and it's like home to you.

He walks up to them, with the animal still laying there. Dead.

Jesus-I had a flashback. I'm sorry for causing this.

Mary-It was a warning. I found its transmitter.

Jesus-I was teaching one night in Nazareth. They must have not liked my sermon because sooner or later I was in a rush to not be thrown off a cliff by some angry people. I always tried to showcase peace with everything I did and talked about but you can't tell how people are going to react.

Mary-I was there that night.

Jesus-I knew it would have to be done on the cross and not right then and there. I couldn't say anything because no one wanted to give away the ending of the story, right? But I was like 'what did I do to make everyone mad.' The town was a lot smaller than it is now. But back then, if 200 people lived there that would be a lot. So we knew everyone. I might have even been related to more people than I knew of.

Lewis-The ambulance is trashed, but the Tomb isn't far and I can call for a ride for us.

Jesus-Thanks. I guess I couldn't figure out what came over those people when we were riding in the car earlier. I felt bad. Almost depressed and I'm sorry I threw up and all of that, it's just that I was in deep thought and still some things are blurry. I mean I just did what Dad told me to do back then. We had a mission to carry out and nothing could mess with it or else the whole plan would have backfired.

Lewis-The usual person would have died from just the brutal whippings that You endured on Your way to the cross. I don't know how You just stood there and took it. I've seen movies, even the graphic ones about You. It makes me cry when I think about it.

Mary-We're here. At the tomb.

Lewis-No this isn't it.

Jesus-It is.

He closes his eyes. As two spirits punch their way out of the ground and stand facing Jesus, with swords in hand, scaring Lewis and Cabe.

Nicodemus-Why do you seek us?

Joseph of Arimathea-Are the nightmares coming back?

He walks closer to the spirits, as Nicodemus reaches to shake Jesus' hand.

Jesus-Yes, my friend.

Nicodemus-Come, closer. Inside the tomb. Bring Your mother, and the Iley and your friends, there's room for everyone to examine.

Joseph of Arimathea-This will be difficult, I will tell you right now.

He takes his first steps inside the tomb as the light from Joseph of Arimathea's spirit glow keeps it bright enough to look around.

Rachel-I have a question?

Joseph of Arimathea-Yes?

Rachel-What's with this part over here? It looks like someone's been digging, the dirt looks like it was dug somewhere. I Mean to an exact location. How would you think beyond your wildest imagination that Jesus' tomb sat on top of something else. Why was this place picked to lay Him to rest?

Joseph of Arimathea-There's an ancient haunting that took place here.

A look of death comes over him.

Joseph of Arimathea-We laid Him here to ward of evil. No one spoke of it. The digging is recent as word has spread of a demon that was fought on this spot where they built this tomb. You know the concept of haunted houses being built over graveyards? We thought we could first put Jesus to rest in a brand new tomb and secondly cover up the land where this 'thing' did battle and lost.

Rachel-Is it still deep under this dirt?

Joseph of Arimathea-The townspeople claim it has risen back to life and that it's gross as hell to look at. One woman puked all over herself as she wandered out here in the middle of the night looking to examine the Tomb of Jesus. It got so bad that they actually had another one designated near here for believers to go and give their respects to Jesus. Jesus, My friend, I have to tell You something? I fought it. We were trying to wrap Your body for the tomb, You know, to lay You to sleep eternal inside. Do You remember us standing there, wrapping your body with linen? Especially the now famous shroud?

Jesus-I don't. I remember being taken down from the cross. Trying to keep my eyes closed. Relying on instinct to keep me alert as to where I was taken. I had to keep my eyes shut from the time of death until I was with L for that short while, and then when I was with Dad. All I could do is listen. Even if someone's heart stops, your ears don't plug up and suddenly stop working. The passageways are still open, unless you have a huge earwax buildup and I didn't.

Joseph of Arimathea-Do you remember hearing me fight that 'thing' right next to where your body was laying?

Jesus lays on the bench where He was originally laid to rest and closes His eyes to replay the scene in His head.

Some of the dirt falls into the ground that has been dug into. The tomb begins to darken as a rectangular shape now glows on the inner wall of the tomb. A passageway big enough for only one person has formed as more dirt appears to fall into the ground.

Joseph of Arimathea-In all my years of spiritually patrolling this area, it has never done that before.

Jesus-Where did you guys lay me to rest again? I mean, why do it here and not somewhere more peaceful?

Nicodemus-The truth would horrify you. We had to remove you once.

Joseph of Arimathea-It arose and we feared for your body.

Jesus-You knew that I was going to be with Dad, though.

Joseph of Arimathea-This 'thing' would've stopped that. It bit me. Look.

He lifts his shirt to reveal a deeply sliced cut just above his stomach, from it's bite.

Jesus opens his eyes breifly to get a look at the bite. Mary, too, walks closer to examine it. She then has an idea and reaches into her pocket to to locate the transmitter that was removed from the animal's heart, and holds it up to the bite.

Mary-It's a match.

Joseph of Arimathea-I didn't see it try to inject me with anything like that.

Mary-It's a transmitter, it wouldn't have attempted it too many times, if it sensed that it couldn't control you, it would've backed off, it's not the puppet master at work here, only a messenger.

Rachel-Hey you two, get a look at this.

She has found a shovel hidden under more dirt at the left side of the tomb.

Rachel-Someone was digging in here that night. I think Jesus had a fight with this 'thing' too and beat the Hell out of it. Do you remember any of that, my friend?

Jesus-I don't. That's not to say I didn't do it, I just didn't remember. Blood loss and things may have been a factor. You know how you have a second wind once you've been fighting for a long time. Same thing. I might have woken up and really had it out with it. Maybe if I saw it again...

Rachel-Once they sealed the tomb shut with the boulder, did anyone try to enter of exit it?

Joseph of Arimathea-Not to my knowledge.

Rachel-The guards were around, right?

Joseph of Arimathea-Yeah, but only on the outside of the tomb, for that reason. To see if Jesus would try to break out of the tomb in an attempt to keep His story straight about raising from the dead. There was a safety precaution that had to be taken even as far back as when the body was at the cross. Since word had already spread like wildfire that it was indeed the Son of God on the cross, dying, they feared that because He didn't fight back and murder all the people who killed Him, that He might spring back to life at any moment and do more harm considering what he did to that church that had gambling in it. They told us He just became enraged and started messing the place up. Things were smashed, broken and ruined. People lost a lot of money and merchandise that day. They mostly feared that He would endure all of the lashings and being killed just to get as mad as he possibly could and then go on another rampage again. Now with Him running around claiming that buildings were going to topple over in a few days after he died, they didn't know what the Hell to expect out of him, was He a magician, or someone with an army from another country already to set up to fight and kill whoever had tormented him, like an act of vengeance would permit.

Jesus-That wasn't my intention.

Joseph of Arimathea-Everyone in this room knows that, but You had just been hung on a cross, now you sit in the audience of a public murder especially one as special and as groundbreaking as this one where a man who so far had claimed to be the Son of God and would rise from the dead in three days to His people and expect order to be restored right after the body is taken down from the cross, come on?

Rachel-So no guards or anyone for the matter was inside this tomb once it was sealed?

Nicodemus-No one. We weren't allowed any time with him once we had him wrapped up.

Rachel-Somehting broke in. Through the floor. That might be how the boulder got moved. Someone, weather it was one of the guards or not, may have died that night, too, trying to help the body of Jesus.

Joseph of Arimathea-How do you figure?

Rachel-The guards were stationed just outside the tomb, right, at least that's what's in all the movies. So what probably happened is that this 'demon' crawled up from the dirt in the tomb at the sight of someone raiding its territory. I think one of the guards or maybe two of them tried to break back into the tomb to fight whatever it was and were killed for it.

Jesus-A cover up? It doesn't sound real.

Rachel-Here, look, Mary give me your flashlight, I think I see something. If the boulder was over the hole in the tomb, there wouldn't have been much light coming in. When did you get bit by it, Joseph?

Joseph of Arimathea-When we first tried to get Jesus' dead body into the linens we got for him. It's always hard moving the dead body of someone you know into a shroud and to just leave him there to sleep forever but it was our job. I kept looking for a pulse, hoping yeah that he was the Son of God, but also that at the last minute he'd wake up and want something to eat. I was crying, when suddenly this thing came up from under the ground.

Nicodemus-I knew it from legend. That's why we picked the spot.

Joseph of Arimathea-It's dangerous, that much we know. You were already asleep, well, humanly dead, and it just lept out. Right away. It bit me.

Dyani-Do you remember any more of the attack?

Nicodemus-Jesus was knocked off the bench at one point. I eventually was able to distract it while Joseph kicked it in it's kneecap as hard as he could. It looked like he really broke it since the blood went everywhere.

Joseph of Arimathea-It seemed dazed so I put my hand over its mouth and pushed it down into the dirt as far down as I could without being dragged down myself. It grabbed me and tried to bring me down at the last second, I thought I was going to die or be suffocated by tomb dirt.

Nicodemus-I used some of the linen we had left over to clean up the blood from that thing's kneecap when it broke and then we left Jesus and put the boulder in front of the tomb and left, hoping just having Him in there with it would scare it underground for good. That wasn't the case.

Rachel walks closer to the wall to examine the rectangle that is now visable, as she gets closer to it, she trips on something covered in dirt.

Jesus-Well, uncover whatever it is.

She dusts off a pair of hands, and then a pair of feet. Soon the entire body of a man is uncovered. Like Joseph of Arimathea, there are signs of a bite, only this time it met its mark and Mary attempts to use her object to burst open his heart, not knowing how long the man had been inside the tomb, she attempts anyway to recover a possible transmitter.

Lewis-Here, take these.

He hands her a pair of surgical gloves to wear in case of infection as her object is out and ready to puncture the man's heart. It's easy to get to since the bite is on his chest and deep enough and round enough to expose his heart. So it's easy for her to reach in and disconnect the things that still hold his heart in place and to open a hole into it's valve and to check for the obvious transmitter. She now has found two as his heart did in fact have one attached to it.

Lewis-That thing attacked that man laying over there and You tried to fight it, Jesus, this man came into the tomb to help You. He had help getting the boulder to move and went in at the sound of the struggle that was happening inside the tomb. He ran in trying to help you and had a hole eaten into his chest and had this transmitter attached to his heart valve in the process then was laid to rest himself under the disguise of the tomb dirt. That's the only answer I can give to you. And Jesus, you don't remember fighting it?

Jesus-I'm trying to. Believe me, I am.

More dirt falls into the ground, near the body.

Rachel-Did you see that?

Joseph of Arimathea-I did. You guys might want to leave, this thing may try to eat the insides out of your skeleton if you get any closer.

Cabe-Dyani, let's go. I didn't drive out here to to die.

Lewis-As much as I hate to say it, I don't want to be here either, I'm not feeling very good either.

A scared feeling comes over all of them, even Jesus. A voice is heard. It sppears to be that of the man who was just examined by Mary.

Xsi'lj-Get out! Run for your lives!

Mary-How are you talking?

Xsi'lj-I'm infected.

Mary-I just set your blood soaked heart on the ground next to you.

Xi'lj-I don't need it to speak. I tried to save You Jesus. I really did. It ate a hole in me and planted that thing Your mom is holding in her hand.

More dirt falls into the ground of the tomb.

Jesus-Close the tomb. Find something to seal it. I don't want any light to enter it. I want to see this thing for myself. Mom, I'm going to have to ask you to stay outside with everyone else. Get this body out of here, too.

They do as they are told. Rachel remains in the tomb with Jesus and they wait. Joseph of Arimathea decides to stay inside too as the tomb is sealed shut. Luckily, they think, there is enough of a draft inside the tomb to breathe.

Rachel-What do we do now?

Jesus-Wait.

Joseph of Arimathea-Look, more dirt is falling into the tomb.

He reaches for him comlink and makes the call.

Jesus-Dad?

The Father answers the call from Spain inside the filthy apartment where Marcus lives in Madrid.

The Father-Where are you?

Jesus-The Inventors are behind something I found here inside my tomb.

The Father-Why are you there?

Jesus-I'm here with Rachel and Joseph of Arimathea. Nicodemus is with us, too. It's a long story but Mom has found two transmitters now. They're from the Inventors. They were planted inside both of the victim's heart valves. One was a human and one an animal.

The Father-One tried to attack me. I woke up in Spain, bleeding almost to death. What's going on here?

Jesus-I'm in the tomb right now with just Joseph of Arimathea and Rachel. Admiral Osterly is behind this, I know it. Have you heard from L?

The Father-He and Aaron, and Annie were going to seek out EyeCross. I haven't heard back from them, which worries me.

Jesus-Do Marcus and Thoma recognize you?

The Father-Yes. But it's two days before the verdict is handed to them. They still don't know the outcome. They don't know what's going to hit the fan in just 48 hours to this city. I must have been asleep.

Jesus-Do you have a transmitter, since you have the same signs as this man we found in here with the transmitter stuck to his heart valve?

The Father-I don't think so.

There's a knock on Marcus' apartment door.

Pastora Condon-Marcus, it's me Pastora.

Marcus-My friend, go in the other room. She can't see you.

The Father-You're right.

She walks in.

Pastora-Marcus, I've heard from the prosecution. You and your friend may be put to death if found guilty. And by the way, have you looked outside in a while. It does seem to get dark early. Do you want me to do your dishes for you?

Marcus-You can if you want.

Pastora-Is your bed made?

Marcus-I think so.

Not wanting to believe him she walks to his bedroom door, but sees him try to stop her.

Marcus-Don't go in there. Please.

Pastora-You're not afraid I'll find adult movies in there, are you? Or perhaps the usual batch of cigarettes and fast food.

Marcus-No, it's not that.

Pastora-Then what is it? Are you hiding someone? A woman?

Marcus-Yeah. That's what it is. A woman.

Pastora-I don't believe you. Who would want to date someone that is currently one of the most wanted men in all of Spain?

Against his wishes she walks in anyway to his bedroom, revealing an open window. She looks down to reveal no possible way for anyone to fall the 20 floors out of his window and survive since she can easily see the street below and no one laid flat on their face in the middle of the busy road. Out of view, he takes a deep breath, hoping she didn't see even a hint of The Father being there.

He does, however, close His eyes long enough to return Himself back to Heaven to retrieve the location of EyeCross and L's shuttle to join him and to lend His help now that he fully knows what they are up against.

There are still two shuttles orbiting EyeCross' lair, he finds out from his messenger and a few unheard voicemails.

He tries to get a hold of Eliza who is aboard one of the shuttles.

Eliza-Yes? Oh, it's you. L, Annie and Aaron are inside that thing. We are tracking them as we speak. He's hiding himself real good.

The Father-Blink your eyes.

She does and finds Him standing right beside her aboard the shuttle.

The Father-He's an Inventor. EyeCross is. He walked among us. He had a wife, you, Eliza. That's why your cell is close to his in Hell.

Everyone freezes at His revelation.

The Father-You also have a relationship with Admiral Osterly, don't you? You killed him! That's why they had you eliminated because you blew their cover. Didn't you?

She is crying.

The Father-I don't care how many people hear this. The three of you are Inventors. Walk with me to the window of this ship.

As she does she sees a familiar ship pull up next to the one their are in. It contains the Admiral himself.

The Father-He's here for you. To avenge his own death.

Eliza-I fell for EyeCross, he made me. He made me kill Osterly. The cops came and found Osterly dead on the floor with blood pouring out of his mouth. But Osterly wasn't dead at all. He was alive but pretended to be dead so that I would be eliminated by his people. His guards sought me out and stuck a knife into my throat and I was killed, pretty soon I was being burned almost senseless by L and kept in that cell. There's another cell down there for Osterly. For all the Inventors. They fear Hell. The weak ones.

He checks for but doesn't find a pulse reading from holding ELiza's wrist.

Eliza-There, are you happy now? I wish I'd never seen Raq Osterly in my life. It got me stuck handing out books to the prisioners in Hell. And yeah, I wanted his fifteen hundred dollar bills. Some Inventors don't always want to stay that way, we get jealous of the humans You created. Why am I aboard this ship and helping the Ileys and You find EyeCross? To beg for his fogiveness.

The Father-It won't erase the cell from Hell with your name on it.

Eliza-I cheated on him, though. That's not cool, even where we come from.

It is decided that they should meet up with Aaron, L and Isabell. His comlink goes off like mad.

Annie-My dear, it's me, Annie. I'm here with Alia and Ellie. I knew we got separated earlier but we're closer to him than the others. I had Greagory and Roxanne land the other ship because we were so close to EyeCross, Martina and Collette. Eliza is with you, right? We just have to keep track of everyone so no one ends up missing.

The Father-Good work. This is going to be a long night. Is Alia there?

Alia-I am. You haven't heard from L, Isabell or Aaron, have you?

The Father-No, I haven't.

Alia-Well, I hope they're okay. We're right by his chamber. I'm just using the light from my cell phone, which isn't much, plus it's pitch black dark in here.

The Father-Do you have any idea what planet you are on.

Alia-It's Ananke.

The Father-I was afraid you would say that. Any sign of Katelyn?

Alia-No. I'm sorry. We still have a few places to look.

The Father-Okay, keep in touch, though.

Alia-I will.

The Father-Can you put Annie back on the phone.

Annie-I'm here.

The Father-They've taken My soul mate from Me. What do I do?

Annie-We will find her, don't worry so much.

Marcus, too, walks to the window not wanting to let on that the The Father was here only he notices something on his bed. The Father's comlink.

Pastora-What's this?

Marcus-Oh, you mean this?

He picks it up and examines it for himself not sure himself what it is.

Pastora-Does this belong to the woman who was in here? Or did you steal it? I don't seem to remember seeing one of these at the shopping mall. What is it?

Marcus-I'm not sure, she must have left it.

Pastora-I bet she did. Don't you lie to me, your fate lies in my hands, my friend. If I'm going to get you cleared of the death sentence, which you probably deserve, you need to tell me the truth.

She opens the comlink to reveal the name on the display. YAHWEY Raah.

Pastora-Is this some kind of joke that you are trying to pull on me.

Marcus-He must have left it.

Pastora-Who? And don't tell me God Himself was here and left His comlink.

She presses a button, and to her surprise a voice comes on the line.

Moses-Yes, my friend?

Pastora-Who is this?

Moses-This is Moses, wait, who are you?

Pastora-My name is Pastora Condon. I'm just a Spanish lawyer, this phone was left oon the bed of my client by someone who was in his room a few minutes ago. I'm just trying to return it to him.

The phone clicks off. Suddenly she hears a loud tone in her left ear. Then her name. Pastora. She collapses on the floor of his bedroom just as Thoma knocks on the door of the apartment.

Thoma-Marcus, let me in.

Marcus-I can't, Pastora just fainted on my bedroom floor. And someone was here.

Thoma-Who?

He walks to answer the door, and opens it for his friend.

Marcus-The Father. She tried to use His comlink, but it went dead, I think someone answered.

Just then he realizes that it's gone.

The Father-I have my cell phone, but my comlink is missing. I must have left it on Marcus' bed. I have to get it back, but I don't want to go back to Spain.

He uses His cell phone to place a call.

Moses-My friend, Pastora Condon found your comlink. I've got a monitor on her right now. I was taking a nap and the sound of your comlink woke me up, I answered it thinking it was you and then it was her and I freaked out and hung up on her. She must think she found something Holy.

The Father-That doesn't worry so much as the fact that my name is on the thing.

Moses-You have a point.

The Father-Can you send someone to get it back for me so I don't have to go and do it myself. I just want all of my attention to be on finding Katelyn.

Moses-Yeah, about that. There's something you should know.

The Father-Yeah?

Moses-Well, I'll let someone else tell you?

The Father-Alright.

He places the phone in her hand.

Katelyn-My dear, it's me.

The Father-Where are you?

Katelyn-Here with EyeCross. In Heaven.

He steals the phone from her.

EyeCross-Don't seek me out and expect me to just sit there and wait for you and all of your friends. I came to you. And guess who's beside me? You remember Admiral Osterly, don't you?

The Father-Don't you hurt her!

EyeCross-How do you know who she is? This might be Universe 2.

The Father-It's not.

EyeCross-Moses is handcuffed. They're on tight. Cutting almost into his wrists. Katelyn is here, also. We're waiting for you. Ask yourself, why are you and all those Ileys on a chase for someone that is smarter than you? Do you think you're going to just walk into my territory and request that your beloved be handed over for free?

The Father-I'm more powerful.

EyeCross-Actions speak louder than words! It looks like it's two on one. You might as well bring your Ileys and my ex wife back to me, or Katelyn won't live a few more minutes longer.

The Father-Where do we meet?

EyeCross-You know where.

The Father-No I don't.

EyeCross-West of the River Jordan in north central Palestine, about ten miles north of Nazareth and fifteen to twenty miles inland from the Mediterranean seacoast. Meet me and Osterly there. And one more thing, tell your kid that he needs to stay out of places underground that he doesn't belong.

Almost as soon as the last amount of dirt falls into the patch of the uncovered tomb floor, it's two eyes appear, scaring Rachel. It comes over her. She can't believe what has unchained itself. It looks right at her causing her to feel sick to her stomach. Until it leaps at her, surprising Jesus.

Joseph of Arimathea-I hear something, it's raining. Like the night you were killed.

Rachel-Dyani? Cabe? Lewis? Is anyone still outside the tomb?

A strange voice answers her.

Angel Natasha Kry-Rachel Deschanel! Fight it!

Rachel-Fight what?

Natasha-That beast in there.

Rachel-What is it?

Natasha-It's got a transmitter, too.

Rachel-Who are you?

Natasha-Me and another angel were there at the resurrection.

Jesus-Her voice does sound familiar.

Natasha-Jesus. You remember me because I hold a secret. I monitored your resurrection, for Your Dad. Someone tried to stop it.

Jesus-Who?

Natasha-You're standing next to him.

He turns to Joseph of Arimathea, as they are still in the dark, with the beast in the room.

Natasha-I stood guard to make sure you made good time on your rising from the dead. Kick the tomb open if you want to see my face.

Jesus-Joseph of Arimathea, did you know about this? What did you have to gain by putting me in this tomb?

Joseph of Arimathea-This woman is lying, can't angels lie? Wait, Jesus, don't blink your eyes!

He does anyway as Joseph of Arimathea and whatever won't take it's eyes off Rachel collapse.

Jesus-Nobody outsmarts me. Let's go Rachel.

Joseph of Arimathea-Not so fast!

He blocks the doorway of the tomb with his body.

Rachel is distracted as the beast comes back to life without being allowed to by Jesus.

Jesus-Joseph of Arimathea, I will physically move you or close my eyes and move you, it's really your choice.

Rachel-Jesus, this thing is looking at me again.

Jesus-I thought I made it stop breathing.

Rachel-It's not breathing.

Jesus-What?

Rachel-It's one of them.

He looks into Joseph of Arimathea's eyes.

Jesus-You're behind this! You knew where to put me. You and Nicodemus. Where is he? He hasn't been around since..wait a minute. Who put the shovel in here to start with? And the thing on the wall. It doesn't add up that you all knew when I'd arrive here. Must have been Cabe, does he have a transmitter? Well does he!

Joseph of Arimathea-He does. Trust me, this is way bigger than you could ever imagine.

Jesus-I can imagine a lot.

Joseph of Arimathea-Before You use Your anger like You did in that church, yeah, everyone saw it. I made a deal with the man who had you killed. I took Your body.

Jesus-Why bring me here?

Joseph of Arimathea-I'm sorry, my Lord and Savior. Nicodemus and I had to. We just did.

Jesus-You're an Inventor!

Joseph of Arimathea-I am.

Jesus-What can this 'thing' do to you?

Joseph of Arimathea-It can murder me. Over and over again. I'm in limbo. Between this universe and the next one.

Jesus-Universe 2? Is it EyeCross and Martina? Or is it Collette that's keeping you this way? Is this 'thing' their pet? Used to haunt my dead body.

Joseph of Arimathea-I'm just here to warn you!

Natasha-Don't listen to him, my friend! They're trying to get the date out of you since they failed in getting it from Dan Sherrill, the writer!

Jesus-My Dad sent me here to live as a human so that people would not die if they believed in Him. Everyone knows that, or at least they should.

Rachel-Joseph of Arimathea, it's even in the Bible.

Joseph of Arimathea-I put you in here for a reason, to ward off the evil that lives underground.

Rachel-How did you know we were coming?

Joseph of Arimathea-EyeCross and Martina's plan is not working. Your presence here is dangerous to them. They're trying to paste over this universe with the other one without knowing the date of the End of the World. They're trying to predict it themselves.

Jesus-They kidnapped Katelyn. Wait.

His cellphone is ringing loud enough to scare and anger the beast that has crawled up from the floor of the dark tomb.

The Father-My Son, meet me on Mount Meggido.

The volume is down on his earpiece, so Joseph of Arimathea doesn't hear any of the conversation.

Jesus-Joseph, come with me.

He physically removes the boulder from in front of the tomb with the kicking of his left foot. It's easy for someone like the Son of the Father. As soon as daylight is seen by the beast inside the tomb, it begins to decay right in front of them.

Jesus-I could unleash on you and you couldn't remember what hit you other than the blood running down your spirit face, but I'm not going to do that, I'd rather have you take a message to EyeCross and his people.

Mary emerges from her hiding place, with a set of handcuffs of her own, that she found at the crash site of the ambulance. They are placed by Jesus on Joseph of Arimathea's wrists. He is then taken away from the tomb, being the real source of evil while patrolling it. Mary catches onto Jesus' idea.

Everyone is there. The Ileys and their enemies. Waiting. He walks up close to The Father.

EyeCross-Tell me, Your majesty, when will this world of Yours end so we can have the land back. When will you be done creating these pathetic humans only to designate either a firey end or a cloudlike end for them? Now that we're here at the place of Armegeddon. Tell me? Or your friend Moses and Katelyn will die. Again, might I add.

Suddenly she runs out from the crowd.

Eliza-No! The Father will only send you to Hell and choose another date! No matter what He tells you, no man shall know the Date of the End of the World! It says it also in the Bible.

EyeCross-Does Pastora Condon know the Date? Doesn't Dan Sherrill know it?

Eliza-Neither. Right, my Friend?

He feels a sword poke its way through his kneecap, slicing the skin open to reveal a frieghtning amount of blood.

L-That's your ticket to your cell!

Aaron-No one challenges The Father without His friends being close in case He needs us!

The Ileys, all of them that were looking for Katelyn on Ananke, have been drawn to the sight of EyeCross's fallen body.

Alia spots Jesus, Rachel, Mary and Joseph of Arimathea walking toward the group.

Jesus-My Father needed me. Someone gave us a ride here. It's okay, you can tell them, these are My friends.

A woman walks closer to the group.

Marea-My shuttle was close. I found them by His tomb. Without a way here. The planted humans disappeard once they were inside the tomb. Natasha protected them and called me. I was the other one.

Jesus-Your voice also sounds familiar.

Marea-I was the other guard. The other angel.

Natasha appears as well next to Marea. They both hold His hands.

Marea-EyeCross is a long way from being defeated.

The Father-I know.

Natasha-I believe that I have made someone wake up from an unexpected sleep. Someone in Spain. A laywer.

She, in fact, does wake up.

Pastora-How long have I been laying here like this.

Marcus-About half an hour.

Pastora-I'm sorry, you two. I need to go, for now. We'll go over more of the plans for your closing arguments tomorrow, alright?

She leaves the apartment more confused then when she first came over to see the two friends and also finding the missing comlink. On the way home she also runs into a familiar face.

Osterly-Did they tell you anything about the 19th?

Pastora-No, but I found this.

Osterly-His comlink! EyeCross should have already defeated The Father and His Son by now. There were just some Ileys there to help Him and, well, L was there, too.

Pastora-Aren't you afraid The Father will just change the End of the World since he might think that we are on to his scheme?

He walks from across the street, originally not catching their eyes, as his identity has been hidden, but his earpiece is now fully in view.

Aaron-There is no scheme.

A woman, or so they think, walks next to where Aaron is standing.

Marea-I could make your eyeballs explode and the white would run out of them if I took off my mask. You've never seen or been witness to anything like me.

Natasha-Or me!

The two of them, with Aaron, back who they think are Osterly and Pastora into a corner in the middle of an alley.

Natasha-I think you have something that belongs to a friend of mine. Aaron, the real Pastora is standing over there by the judicial office, signal to her!

He does. And she walks closer to where the 'other' Pastora is being cornered by the two angels.

Natasha-One of you is wearing a mask. And I'm going to close my eyes and when I open them, one of you won't be wearing one. One of you will go about her business and to her case. The other one of you, and I'm refering to the one named Martina, will vanish from this peaceful place, not recieving the information you so creatively tried to arm wrestle away from Marcus and Thoma. EyeCross, in order to fully impersonate the Admiral, you have to know where the sirens are located. You don't, otherwise you would've sounded them yourself. Fix your bleeding kneecap and get out of my sight!

Their images vanish. As do the images of Natasha and Marea. Leaving Aaron and now Rachel who walks up close to him to notice a tiny slip of paper floating down from the sky. He opens it and reads outloud so she can hear. The real Pastora is also seen shaking her head in disbelief as to what she just witnessed but walks back to her office anyway, as Aaron reads outloud what is written in the note.

Dear Dan,

Talk to her, after all these years. Maybe she's changed. Why is it that she's always in your thoughts when you write.

Natasha

Dan-I don't know.

Rachel-Do you still love the real me then? You must. Otherwise I wouldn't be standing here in the middle of Madrid, Spain with you.

Dan-It's been six years since the word love exited my voice box for you.

Rachel-I can leave.

Dan-I wish you wouldn't.

Rachel-Then don't.

She suprises him with a kiss on his right cheek.

Her cell phone is ringing.

Rachel-Yes?

Alia-Meet us back on Iley when you have a chance.

Rachel-What do you mean, when I have a chance?

Alia-The Father, he pulled a few strings, again. He just wants you to to be happy. You were once before, right? My friend, there's something you don't understand, or maybe you do about God. He works in strange ways. He shows up when you least expect Him to. He could take complete control of a story to make it gel right, you know? He could also make someone write this whole big story only to come to the end of it and be stricken with tears at the fact that after 6 years and all this stuff, there's still that vision of you up there acting at the bookstore with the group. It's hard to erase. I'm sure everyone knows that Jesus did make his way up to Heaven that night, and that, yeah, often times writers get to the end of their proposed novel and realize that in order to try to erase someone they care about from their heart and their tears they might, how do you say this, try to come up with a pretty neat story about God and Jesus and all of that, but what it boils down to is that He won. He thought Dan could write something this long and this complicated and ultimately be thinking about you, Rachel, and tonight proved that he couldn't get through one of these stories without thinking about you and even making Jesus give you possession of the Seven Seals. He could've wrote it so that He had given them to me instead.

Dan-She's right. Wheather I write this as Aaron or as Dan, or I put my real name on it. Everything just points to you and I. I miss you. There, I said it. I sometimes feel like I screwed everything up with you. I couldn't do anything right with you. I wanted to throw things every time I said something that I wish I could've taken back seconds after I said it. I'm surrounded by things I wish I had told you.

Rachel-I have your key, but if I give it to you it means I'm giving back the place in my heart that I have for you and you know that I always hold you dear to me. And even though I was rude to you the last time we talked, I didn't mean it, my dear. Why do you think I went to Nazareth to talk to Jesus about all of this. He came up with this idea of going to the tomb for me to think about stuff and I did. I thought about a lot of things. Sometimes you need a good distraction to come to terms with something serious that's going on. I know The Father means well when he orchestrates these elaborate illustrations to get people to see each other in a differen't light. I was just late figuring it out. I knew that beast in the tomb was made up and wouldn't harm me. But I knew if it did that Jesus would've fought it and won because He is so great and I know that you would've been the first to rescue me or at least to bring me flowers and presents in the hospital where I would've been taken to. Would you have?

Dan-Yes. I would've done that over and over again for you, if it meant your safety in these not so happy times for you and I. I wish all the time I had the courage to just drive by your house and walk up the steps and knock on the door and see your beautiful face again, but I'm limited to what I can say to not upset you since that's all I seemed to be able to do back then was upset you even though all I wanted to do was love you with all of my heart. And I, too, thank The Father for His ambition and His friendship in having us finally talk this way. Even if it's in a story set in Spain.

Rachel-There's a lot of things I wish I could redo. The idea of a second universe doesn't interest me, though. I'd never make the jump. You have a great imagination, though. Talking deer? That one made me wonder for a minute, but the concept behind this story is one that I think rings true to a lot of people in relationships. You walk on eggshells with me around, I know. Think about this, I have figured out why you wrote this story. It reminds you of someone who's broken up badly with someone they care deeply for and they resort to 'drowning themselves in their work' to not focus on the issue at hand. I know you by now. I know how you operate. You're trying your hardest to erase me, but each and every time you sit at the computer to write, you gets these really cool ideas about the End Times and then all it ever really boils down to is that you just miss the real me and you're trying to write something that will take your mind off me, and guess what? I find myself back in Spain watching the World End with Aaron, the character you made for himself.

He walks closer to both of them, and then His Son walks closely beside Him. In Spain, and not caring who sees them.

The Father-Now, will you two please communicate what My Son and I know is in both of your hearts to communicate. We'll stand over there, but we're not leaving. If this illustration has taught both of you anything it's that no matter how hard you drive 5,000 miles away from someone that you will always cherish, their memory is seen everywhere. And, yeah, you could both drown yourselves dead with work or Bible research about the resurrection of my Son, but what it boils down to is that there's some unresolved speeches that you two still have to open your mouths and say to each other. And I want to wish both of you good luck, and yeah, maybe My Son and I did have all of this planned out and went to great lengths to do it without being noticed, or arrested, but did it teach you anything?

Dan-It did.

Rachel-Me, too.

Jesus walks to another alley nearbye and walks back to where Aaron, now as Dan, and Rachel are standing and sets on the ground a battery operated stereo cassette player, with the usual two speakers. He also seems to be reaching into His pocket for a cassette tape, loads it into the player and gives only one order to both of them before pressing the play button.

Jesus-Slow dance, my friends. That will make me the happiest.

Rachel-This is the song that played this night we performed with the group. You picked it out for me.

Dan-I did. Will you dance with me, Rachel?

Rachel-That seems to be the only time that we are truthful to our unspoken feelings toward each other, I would love to.

The Father-I think we should leave them and return home. Tell Alia that Natasha wants to see her for some reason. Thank you, My Son, for going along with the plan tonight and bringing these two together again.

Jesus-Yeah, Joseph of Arimathea was real helpful with getting the tomb and all the help from Nicodemus to make the beast puppet look real, having to control it from underground. I just wish he hadn't left the shovel sitting out, it kind of gave it away, luckily Rachel didn't realise that we were playing this out as an illustration for her and Dan. It was actually really cool.

The Father-See you at choir practice in the morning.

In an instant they vanish, too, while Dan and Rachel decide to replay the song again, as to not let the moment fade, like it might have done the last time. But even some moments that fade with time only need a grain of salt's worth of thought to bring them back as if they were happening right now.

Dan-Rachel, just hold me in your arms and try not to let go of me. You can, though, if you want, but I wish you wouldn't.

Rachel-We have to return the tape player back to Jesus in the morning for choir practice in Heaven, but notice how just now I said 'we' instead of just you by yourself. Pay attention to things like that from now on.

The End.
