I may be paranoid, but I think the dude from the second night is out waiting for the skulking pacing guy from the first night on his front porch. To make me seem even more delusional, I've been putting up posters for the DAC Talk I'm giving on Friday, and I think smoker dude has a folded up poster and is waiting for skulking hoodlum to come home. I walked by to check him out, and I'm 90% sure that this is the guy who drops the cigarette on my front porch. By the way, I gave the butt to the cops in a little baggy ala CSI. Did I say that already?
And don't believe the polls.

SO in the background of the New Busted video, you can hear CNN and me in the background. I'm incredulous becuase I see that Wisconsin is a red state. And I say, "There giving Wisconsin to Bush!"
Meanwhile about 20 feet away, a hodlum is sneaking up on my sign, pulls it and the alarm goes off. And so do I. Thus, the "Yo B*tch, what was that about!" comment. He tried to tell me that the real offender went the other way, but one of my neighbors witnessed the whole sneaky episode and told the punks to get out before he called the cops. I capped off the conversation with a "Dude, you know I got you on video."

So the Political Pranksters struck again last night. This time they thought about taking the Kerry Edwards booby trapped, but opted for an off camera, no strings attached Gwen Moore sign. I don't think they know that there is acamera, but they knew that the Moore sign was an easier target, which makes me think that they had a bad experience with Kerry Edwards (sign). I'm waiting for them.

I've been asked about what the Local Police are doing. I called 3 times about the signs, but I didn't ask them to come out until after I was interviewed and before the News Story Aired. They had a good chuckle becuase I gave them a cigarette butt in a plastic baggy (ala CSI) that the hoodlum from 8-29 dropped on my front steps. The trick is figuring out who these guys really are, and where they live. At the begining of the week next week, I'm going to start circulating flyers in the neighborhood with still frame grabs. Somebody's probably bragging, and somebody's going to get ratted out.

Ringing Doorbell

So, I'm sleeping.
And the doorbell rings. It's 12:30 in the morning. I'm not answering that. 20 seconds later, rings again.
I slip on my wife's terry red robe and slither out to the dining room. Peering through the foyer and through the beveled glass. Nobody at the front door. Check the west side. Nope. Scurry sideways to the front windows. Starting at the bottom louver of the blinds, I'm peeking out.
Yep, there's the guy. African American, 5'8", scruffy goatee, dark ball cap, white satin-like shirt with black snaps on the front out on the side walk looking at the house.
I watched him leave and walk north, cross the street, and disappear into somebody else's front yard. Needless to say, every little creak and movement from my wife and baby was heard, and perceived to be the initial stages of the home invasion. I need a nap.
