Kootenay Lake Weather Transmitter now broadcasting
As of August 21, 2007 weatheradio has been available for the main lake and West Arm. The Environment Canada weatheradio transmitter, with a power output of 177 watts is located 1400 feet above the lake at Pilot Bay on the Kootenay Co-operative radio tower. FULL STORY
