Henrietta and the Luv Factory One day Henrietta was sitting in her chair watching the clock. She couldn't wait. Soon she could leave and go to town and tour the chocolate factory. Henrietta had won a free tour of the chocolate factory by eating a record amount of brownies from the "Luv Chocolate Company". "Yes! It's finally time to go!" Henrietta thought when the alarm on her clock went off. Henrietta zoomed off in her truck to the chocolate factory. With amazing speed and grace she arrived in 35 seconds. Soon she was on her way, going on the tour of the factory. "Here at 'Luv Chocolate Company' we take extra care to make your products the very best. Some people say that our special ingredient is a little bit of love." The tour guide announced, "And at the end of our tour you can meet the special people who make your products." "I can't wait!" Henrietta thought, "It will be wonderful to meet the people that make these tasty brownies! And they give me a year's supply of chocolate!" But even before she knew it, Henrietta had her tub of chocolate in her truck, ready to drive away. "Oh no!!" Henrietta exclaimed, "I forgot to get autographs!" And Henrietta rushed back inside of the factory to get autographs. While she was hunting for the people to get their autographs, all of the lights went out and the factory shut down. It was closing time and Henrietta got locked in the factory. "Well this isn't as bad as being stuck in my basement or an elevator!" Henrietta thought in delight, "Any way, I get as much chocolate as I want!" And off Henrietta went humming a happy tune and tasting all of the different kinds of chocolate. Then she heard something strange. It was somebody crying! "Oh my! What's that?" Henrietta thought and searched for the source of the sound. Then she found out that it was coming from the control room. Henrietta looked in and saw a mass of children in the room. "Hurry up and work faster!" The woman in command yelled, "If you don't work you won't get any bread and groul for supper!" "This is horrible!" Henrietta thought. "They are using all of these children to make and prepare the chocolate! This must be where all of those missing children that I read about in the paper are being held captive! I have to stop them!" Henrietta waited until the commanding woman left, and then she rushed in to gather up the children. "We need to get out of here!" Henrietta said, "How long until that woman comes back?" "About five minutes," One of the children said. "Well, let's get going!" Henrietta told the children, "All of you run through that door, and go as fast as you can and as quietly as you can." "But if we stop an alarm will go off and that lady will come back!" Another child said. "Hmm..." Henrietta though. Then she grabbed a metal tube that was lying on the floor. "When I say go, you all run as fast as you can!" Henrietta explained, "OK... GO!!" Right when the children ran, Henrietta smashed the computer alarm system with the metal tube. But then the woman in command came in and rushed over to Henrietta. "What are you doing?!" The woman yelled. And punched Henrietta in the face. Henrietta fell back onto the ground and started to cry. When she did this, the woman ignored Henrietta and turned around. This gave Henrietta the chance she was looking for. Henrietta grabbed another metal tube and smashed the woman right on the side of her head. The woman was knocked out instantly and would probably be out for a while. Even though Henrietta was fast on her feet to knock out the woman, the woman was still able to activate the alarm system. Henrietta got up and ran over to the kids, and hurried them over to the exit. "This is the only way out of the building." Henrietta said, but the door was locked. "Oh well," Henrietta said, "I have done this before!" and Henrietta ran against the door with all of her might. Henrietta's plan worked and she knocked down the door, and they were all able to get out of the factory. "Hurry! Get into the back of my truck!" Henrietta commanded the children. "But we can't all fit!" The children advised Henrietta, "This tub of chocolate is taking up all of the room!" "I will probably kill myself later..." Henrietta said and dumped the tub of chocolate out of her truck. "We can all just about fit!" The children said, and Henrietta took off toward the police station. Soon everything was back to normal, and Henrietta was back at her house. Henrietta sat down at her table and looked at the newspaper. Henrietta was on the front page of the paper. "Chocolate Factory plot foiled by Henrietta," the headline said. "I am so glad to be home and for that ordeal to be over with!" Henrietta though and took a bite or her new passion, chocolate chip cookies.
