Little bit about myself: I'm 23 years old, and i'm a graduate of the Academy of Art College in San Francisco's film department. I'm currently doing my bit for the country by being an (almost) completely miserable soldier in the United States Army. The informal name of my job in the Army is a "Launcher Dawg", but for anyone not in Air Defense Artillery, that means that my world revolves around a PATRIOT missile launcher, and the truck that hauls it. More on that later.
Anyway, yes, i make films, but for you film idiots out there, not every filmmaker is a director. I'm not a film director. Nor am i a producer, or an actor. Yes folks, there are OTHER people involved in makeing films. I know, its hard, but you'll accept it eventually. What i do is sound. I record it, i sync it, i tweak it, i mix it, and in the end, i have manipulated the audience, and they are thinking and feeling exactly what i want them to, and they never noticed i was even there. :) And thats what my job is all about. That and fighting with the Director of Photography. ;)
Anyway, anyone who knows me knows that i am a Star Wars SuperFan. I'm one of those obsessed freaks who thinks the Star Wars Universe is more realistic than this sad place in which we live. I started my obsession with Star Wars at the ripe old age of four, and yes, ultimately, it is the reason i went to film school. And sadly, probably one of the reasons the Army sounded like a good idea to me.
I am also a fan of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Battletech, Highlander, Robotech, R.A. Salvatore, and most of all, i'm a fan of Michael Stackpole, the author of the books that are the Holy Gospel. (If you dont know by now, i operate on my own religion :)
I listen to lots of diffrent kinds of music, but my big kick is Industrial music. Whats that you ask? Well, it is to techno what heavy metal is to rock and roll. Except like metal, you dont dance to it, you beat people up to it. :) My favorite bands are Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, Cobalt 60, Project Pitchfork, Die Krupps, Neitzer Ebb, Rammstein, and Front 242.
Anyway, i'll shut up now and let you browse. :)
