(3-5-06)Shadows In The Woods will finish this May, the movie was started in December of 2003 and it's a chapter in my life that I will gladly put to rest so I can move on to new projects. We're moving in a slightly different direction after Shadows, my two new personal projects a bigfoot movie and an EFE film series are much more violent and horror themed than previous works. I'll also be producing a drama involving a plane crash, and I'll be helping out director David Oakes on his zombie film The Dead Among Us. Last month I opened the video store Movie Carnival in Girard Ohio which is also where EFE will be moving it's office to on the second floor. (11-4-05)Dark Xmas 2006 is right around the corner, we have an amazing guest list and this years show expects to draw no less than 1,000 people. I will also be showing my Shadows In The Woods trailer for the first time ever prior to showing 2020 An American Nightmare at 1pm on Saturday November 12th.(9-16-05)I am happy to announce that I will be appearing with Eerie Frequency Entertainment at the Eerie Horror Fest in Erie, PA which happens to be where I grew up. Others appearing there will be Lloyd Kaufman, Gunnar Hanson, Debbie Rochon, and Jasmin St. Claire. 2020 An American Nightmare is having two special features included on the directors cut DVD, one is "The Making Of 2020, A Look Inside A B-Movie" and the trailer for "Shadows In The Woods." Shadows In The Woods resumed filming last week, everything went terrific. Shadows In The Woods will actually be Star Wars actor Michael Sheards last movie, who I'm sorry to announce recently passed away. Michael spent a week out here as we filmed his parts for Shadows In The Woods and he appeared at my first Dark Xmas convention, he was a great actor and friend.(9-15-05)I recently left the Star Trek: Lexington project because I didn't have enough time to play one of the lead characters, I was just to busy with running Eerie Frequency Entertainment, directing Shadows In The Woods, preparing for Novembers Dark Xmas, and running a video store. I do wish them lots of luck on their internet TV show.(5-27-05)Travis Bowen Productions in association with R Talent will be reopening it's doors in Niles Ohio within the next month. The studio which specializes in film production, music production, and artist management had been closed for almost two years. We'll still be located on the second floor in the National City bank building, National City is on the first floor, we're on the second, the Metro Monthly is on the fourth, and the law firm Shaker & Shaker is on the fifth. More info will be coming soon!!!(4-12-05)I recently joined the cast of Star Trek: Lexington, it's an internet series, so you'll have to have a cable internet connection to view the episodes but alot of people do now days. It takes place in the Star Trek IV time period, there is also a regular character from the movies, Saavik who's played by an all new actress, the third in the history of Star Trek to play the role made famous by Kirstie Alley and Robin Curtis. The pilot will air in late 2005, I play a series regular named Lieutenant Commander Jason Thomas Lee.(2-15-05)2020: An American Nightmare is currently getting it's final edit and will debute at Dark Karnival in Youngstown Ohio on April 30th. Dark Karnival will not be held at the Comfort Inn but instead will be held at the Best Value Inn, this is due to them having a large movie room with a projector and movie screen. DSK Productions just wrapped up the editing for Dark Xmas 2004 The Movie which will be available on DVD at Dark Karnival, Dark Xmas, and any other shows that Travis Bowen or DSK Productions attend during 2005. (11-25-04)Yes, the rumors are true!!! Dark Xmas will now be held twice a year at the Comfort Inn in Warren Ohio, the name for our new summer show will be DARK KARNIVAL. Make sure to check the offical website at WWW.DARKKARNIVAL.COM, the site will be up and running in early December.(8-23-04)(www.darkxmas.net is the new official website for the Dark Xmas show) www.darkxmas.com will be down for one to two weeks, until then you can view up to date info on the show at www.angelfire.com/scary/xmas, the site looks alittle different but has all the same info. This is due to a change in the web designer. (7-15-04)2020: An American Nightmare has grown from it's original short film start into a major full length feature film starring Conrad Brooks, Joe Estevez, Robyn Griggs, Syn DeVil, Lilith Stabs, Stacey Sparks, Bill Banky, and many more. In other news the film First Movie Date which Travis has a featured role in ranked 13th in the top 100 short films on IFILMS.COM.(5-21-04)Dark Xmas has found a home for 2004 and so on at the Comfort Inn in downtown Warren Ohio, it's much larger than the hotel used lasted year and much nicer, we're getting closer to making Dark Xmas into the Chiller of Ohio. Also 2020: An American Nightmare will be playing for the first time ever at the show.(3-11-04)Actor Conrad Brooks will be joining Travis at Frightvision in Cleveland this April to promote their new 2020 film, others sitting in will be actor Johny Walker and casting directer and co-producer Frances Harris. Conrad is famous for his role with Bela Lugosi in the 1950's Ed Wood movies Plan 9 From Outer Space and Glen Or Glenda, he has also worked with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. (2-25-04)Travis Bowen's current film 2020: An American Nightmare will be available at Frightvision in Cleveland this April. Travis will be acting in two new films in the next two months, Doorway Production's Slavez Of Horror Land and Stephanie Aldridge's Descend Into Darkness 2. (2-23-04) Big Dark Xmas news! Eugene Roddenberry Jr. will be signing free autographs all weekend long at Dark Xmas, he is the son of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and Star Trek actress Majel Barrett-Roddenberry who played Nurse Christine Chapel. (1-9-04) Dark Xmas has just announced two of it's first guests for November 2004. Bill Blair of Babylon 5 and Star Trek and also Kenny Miller of I Was A Teenage Werewolf. We have also just made a deal with a Star Wars guest from Episode II: Attack Of The Clones & Episode III, however we are not releasing the name at this time. More news coming soon...
