Bryan began making comedy shorts from the age of eleven until he was twenty-seven. These "Shorts" opened many doors for Bryan. "Undershorts" have appeared on "Foul-Ups Bleeps & Blunders," hosted by Don Rickles and Steve Lawrence, and "TV Bloopers & Practical Jokes," hosted by Dick Clark and Ed McMahon. Entertainment Tonight and Real TV aired feature segments on Bryan's Classic Comedy Shorts. Steven Spielberg's website Pop.Com also streamed several of Bryan's comedy shorts on the internet.

Bryan's "Undershorts" have also appeared on HBO, NBC, ABC, The Movie Network, The American Comedy Awards and several specials with Johnny Carson. Paramount Home Video produced a full-length comedy feature of Bryan's shorts entitled, "UnderShorts: A Brief Movie."
