Alright, here's another attempt at actually keeping a journal... hopefully this one will end up having more than just this one entry.
Funny story of the day: I needed to do laundry (badly), and when I walked into the laundry room it smelled like something was burning. There were about 4 other people doing laundry, and when this one guy smelled it, he was like, "Shit!! My clothes are on fire!!" When he opened the washing machine that his clothes were in, smoke came rolling out from the water. It was so funny, because no one could figure out what was going on... so he just kept washing his clothes and eventually the smoke went away. Ah, the crazy times that you have while doing laundry.
I've come to the conclusion that some people are extremely stupid. For example, this conversation that I heard walking to class:
"I broke my cigarette in half today, so I taped it together."
"You shouldn't smoke tape! It's bad for you! It has chemicals in stuff in it."
...not like cigarettes without tape on them don't have chemicals in them. And seriously, who tapes cigaretts back together anyways?!?!
I got all the stuff from Atlantic Records in the mail today... including about 30 cds and a hundred posters. This job is going to be so much fun! I just need to start going to all of the UAB meetings and stuff, and really start hitting up the records stores on a regular basis. And tons of concerts.. heh.
