Thank you for visiting the
redesigned, relaunched Vincent Price Exhibit website!
It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since the
original site was opened to the public, and even harder
to believe that its subject has been gone for 16 years!

most
treasured Vincent

May 27, 2009:
The site is FINALLY relaunched!
When I first threw open the virtual doors of this
Vincent Price Exhibit exactly 10 years ago today, it was
a much different place. Long-time visitors will
remember an actual Exhibit 'floorplan' with clickable
rooms and displays. I tried very hard to make it
look like an actual bricks and mortar museum. As
the decade progressed, though, it became less important
to create an environment as it became more important to
relay a sense of who Vincent Price was. It's
frightening how many people under the age of 25 or so
have never heard of the subject of this Exhibit (just as
they've no idea who many other faces from the Golden Era
of Hollywood were). So now, my mission isn't so
much to simply memorialize the great Vincent Price as it
is to also introduce him to new generations of fans.
One thing hasn't changed, however;
everything you see on display throughout this site,
unless specifically noted to the contrary, comes from my
own personal collection of Price memorabilia.
So, thank you for the past
10 years of patronage! Come on in and look around.
You'll find something of the familiar, along with, I
hope, some new and surprising things to enjoy. And
-- as always -- there's much more to come! To tell
you the truth, I just plain ran out of time! Older news items
