"I've come to believe remembering someone is not

the highest compliment -- it is missing them."
- Vincent Price

Welcome!

A word of explanation: 2009 is the 10-year anniversary of this site. To celebrate, I'd like to be able to expand the collection as much as possible. In particular, I'd like to be able to bid on items being sold on eBay by Victoria Price from her father's estate. It breaks my heart that so many personal family items are going to private collections where no one else will be able to enjoy them. As you know, this site is my way of sharing memorabilia with the world at large. All of VP's fans should have access to it! If you'd like to donate, please do. If you don't or can't, that's OK too! 100% of what I receive in donations will go toward expanding this site. Please see the new 'Friends of the Exhibit' page for the names of those who have kindly given. Thanks!

A Request

I have spent many hours putting this site together, using items from my own collection.  If you desire to use an image from this site, either ask for permission (at the above email address), or -- at least -- include a credit or link to this site.  It's very frustrating to find my scans on other sites, used without any mention of their origin. This is stealing!

What's New?

June 23, 2008:  Attention Phibes fans!  As a librarian, I run across all types of useless information every day.  Today, however, I ran across something pretty cool!  North of Houston, Texas, in the town of Spring, there is actually a street named Phibes Trail!  What a great place to have your picture taken!  Click on the button for the Vincent Price Tour Guide in the right column to see where it is on a map!

June 18, 2008:  'Dragonwyck' coming to DVD!  The 1946 20th Century Fox production that first cast Vincent Price in the gothic world he'd preside over in the 1960's Poe films is being released on DVD in September.  Here's more!

June 16, 2008:  FanCon dedicated to Vincent Price!  If you live anywhere near Pittsburgh, PA, you might want to look into attending The Monster Bash Expo & Film Fest June 20 - 22.  It's got some great guests and is dedicated to VP!  Here's more info.

June 13, 2008:  New Vincent Price comic book announced!

Bluewater Productions has announced the October debut of a new series of comic books to be called Vincent Price Presents.  The new comics, approved by the Price estate, will feature VP as host and sometimes participant in a variety of settings.  See the announcement at Bluewater for the full story.

April 17, 2008:  Hazel Court has died.  Sad news indeed.  Beautiful VP costar in The Raven and Masque of the Red Death (and many other genre films), has passed away at 82.  Read more here.
