I made TPBS in the fall of 2001 as a reaction to a depressing documentary I'd made a month before. I decided I didn't want to be pegged as a depressed documentary filmmaker, so in a fit of inspiration, I conceived, wrote, production designed, lit, shot and made most of the sounds and all of the voices for the animated piece you see here.
