Bio

Patrick Fugit was born on October 29, 1982 in Salt Lake City. He began acting in a summer theatre program through the University of Utah at eleven. He continued on through high school and regional productions. He landed supporting roles in Touched By an Angel and in the TV movie Legion of Fire: Killer Ants!. Patrick received his first movie role-to star in the movie Almost Famous- after two auditions. Patrick lives in Salt Lake City with his parents and two siblings.

Patrick’s voice changed 1 ½ octaves while filming Almost Famous.

He also grew three inches.

Billy Crudup had to start wearing platform shoes in order to look taller.
