Review:
Its amazing what My Baby's Daddy delivers in direction, entertainment, story, you name it. I say this because My Baby's Daddy tries to be a decent film, but quite frankly it is a horrific journey that should never had started. There are so many failed attempts at comedy and story.
If you want to know how unfunny comedy films can end up then take a peek at My Baby's Daddy. This is a film that delivers joke after joke, but it is so terribly crafted that it ends up being a complete ride of stupidity and pointless situations. Almost a complete explosion in cinema development terms.
There truly is no comedy to find in this film and the story is almost not even visible. Its hard to even think how a normal human being can decide to film this and put it out in theatres. Embarassment and shame should hit them hard. I doubt Director Cheryl Dunye was sober while making this film.
I cannot for the life of me see anything in My Baby's Daddy that is worth talking positive about. Perhaps the cute babies and a couple of soft moments are what stopped this from getting a complete zero on my scale. However, it is a complete disaster that had no potential at all.
 These babies are hilarious....We aren't.
You know January is not always a great month for films, but there can always be a few acceptable or average films. My Baby's Daddy would love to be your average film, but that would simply be too nice to give it that praise. Even if the month was not January it would not have an affect in the results of My Baby's Daddy.
Not only the film itself, but the performances are no where near good and no where near believable or even funny for that matter. Anthony Anderson plays one of the leads and this has to be the worst move he has made in his career. He is not necessarily a big actor, but My Baby's Daddy can crush careers.
I understand that the film was somewhat of a remake of Three men and a Baby, but it comes nowhere near the quality of that film and it can't even stand on its own as an achievement. An example of bad filmmaking is seen in My Baby's Daddy, if you enjoy that then go right ahead and witness failure.
My Baby's Daddy is a complete failure and signs of comedy or passable entertainment are non-existent. There is only one spark in the film which I mentioned earlier, but the film has a boring story and stupid humor that it falls completely flat. My Baby's Daddy tries to be something its not and it makes you want to say, Why, oh why hollywood?
