Best Sequel
Although sequels never tend to be as good as the original, they are still being made because quite frankly, it makes money. The box office takes in a lot of money for sequels and as long as we keep watching them at the theatres, they will continue to release more and more of them. However, with that said, some sequels do indeed turn out to be actually quite good and some rarely surpass the original... Here are the nominees for Best Sequel:
The Matrix Reloaded
The anticipation was running wild after an amazing film was released back in 1999. It had been four years and the fans awaited the return of Neo, Morpheus and Trinity. It was a decent sequel, but could have been even better. However, it was entertaining and the special effects were simply amazing.
The Matrix Revolutions

Its almost awkward when you compare Revolutions to Reloaded, because they are fairly the same in entertainment. They are both no where near the quality of the first, but still were pretty fun. The trilogy came to an end with this one and interesting occurences brought and end to it.
Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines

Everyone expected an average plain action film, but we got more than we paid for. The machines continue to track down humans and Arnold is back to protect John Connor. The story continue and what a great addition to the trilogy it is.
X2: X-Men United

When the first X-Men came out, I enjoyed it, but of course I saw places where it could have been even better. Either way, it was good, but like I said, there are those rare times when the sequel is better than the original. This is a perfect example of that.
And The Winner Is...
