2003 Wooden Robbie Nominees

Best Action/Adventure/Sci-Fi Film

Whats better than watching a film packed with intense action and delivers entertainment like theres no tomorrow? Movies are partially made for entertainment and in 2003, there was quite a few that were extremely well done with not only great action scenes, but a damn good story to go along with them... Here are the nominees for Best Action/Adventure/Sci-Fi Film:

Kill Bill Vol. 1
We all know the great director that made this film. He certainly doesn't dissapoint whatsoever with this outing. This is only the first half of this film and it is certainly enjoyable in many places. The action is solid, the dialogue is slick and the direction is beautiful by Tarantino.

The Last Samurai

The Japanese culture is a very interesting one. I've always loved their way of life, culture and music. A powerful film with a lot of training set before going to a war of mayhem is exactly what this film could be classified as. The mood and expressions is what its all about.

Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King

The third part of the trilogy has set foot and it is just as good as its predessors. Fantasy and adventure are some of the hardest genre to take on and it is beautifull done here by Peter Jackson, his cast and his crew. What a excellent film that features everything you would want in a thrill of a lifetime.

Pirates Of The Carribean: Curse Of The Black Pearl

Whoever though a film like this could deliver in not only action and comedy, but in a great story about Pirates and how they fight to live. Director of "The Ring", Gore Verbinski, sure shows us exactly how a Pirate movie is made and he balances it out well with this film.

Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines

Arnold returns and Judgment Day is about to occur. With non-stop action and great special effects, this film delivers in many areas of entertainment.

X2: X-Men United

Marvel and Bryan Singer return and what an interesting sequel they put on. Not only does this film surpass expectations, but there are so many characters to enjoy, the special effects are phenominal and the action is intense. Hold on tight for the fun ride.

And The Winner Is...
