JON JAMES/editor in chief
Jonathan James, better known to those on campus as “Jon James,” is currently amid his first quarter as Editor-in-Chief of The Communicator. His history with The Communicator includes being the previous Managing Editor and long-time Sports Editor. Beyond The Communicator, James involvement with publications includes: 1) Being an intern-reporter at The Statesman-Examiner (Colville). 2) Serving as advisor to the Colville Junior High School yearbook staff. 3) Four years of dedication to the Colville High School yearbook and newspaper. 4) CHS Newspaper Editor-in-Chief and yearbook section editor. 5) Colville Junior High yearbook sports editor.
Beyond publications, James has been President of the Student Body at SFCC and a Real World Top 28 Finalist. His interests also include volleyball, everything pop-culture (including being a reality-TV hopeful and addict), partying and laughing. James is single (hint, hint) and hopes to attend the University of Oregon School of Journalism or pursue a degree in journalism/media at Washington State University. Long-term career goals include working in the entertainment media and/or owning/publishing/operating his own newspaper.

AMANDA JOHNS/features editor
Amanda Johns is an average college student who is working towards a career in journalism. In addition to being the Features editor for the Communicator she is also the President of the Journalism club. During her nearly nonexistent free time she enjoys sleeping and watching married with Children reruns. She also makes a mean bowl of easy mac.
