アラスカの荒野で約12年間に24人もの若い女性を誘拐して、拷問にかけ、レイプした実在の連続殺人犯ロバート・ハンセンを題材にした映画で、
スコット・ウォーカーが脚本兼監督を担当することになっている。
同作でニコラスは、ティーンネイジャーの犠牲者を発見して捜査を行うアラスカ州の警察官を演じ、犯人役のロバート・ハンセンを
ジョン・キューザックが演じることになっている。この二人は、以前に映画『コン・エアー』で共演している。
撮影は、今年の秋からアラスカ州のアンカレジで行われることになっている。ニコラス・ケイジの犯人役も見てみたいところだが

“The Frozen Ground” is based on the true story of Alaskan detective Glenn Flothe (called Sgt. Jack Halcombe in the movie).
Halcombe (Nicolas Cage) sets out to end the murderous rampage of Robert Hansen (John Cusack), a serial killer who has
silently stalked the streets of Anchorage for more than 13 years. As the bodies of Anchorage women start to add up, Sgt.
Halcombe goes on a personal manhunt to find the killer. When 17 year old Cindy Paulson (Vanessa Hudgens) escapes Hansen's
unspeakable violence, she believes the law will take him down. Instead she finds herself, once again, fighting for her life.
With her only ally, the unlikely Sgt. Halcombe, Paulson is determined to bring a serial killer to justice.

水曜日、冷え込むアンカレッジでニックは「Northern Knives」というカスタムブレードショップに立ち寄った。
ニックが買ったのは、象牙の手元と4インチの刃の上に白頭ワシが彫られたステーキナイフ。
ニックはこれでステーキを切って食べると話したそう・・・ マイお箸じゃなくて"マイ・ナイフ"？＾＾なんか、可愛いですね＾＾ｖ

アラスカ、アンカレッジで「The Frozen Ground」の撮影が始まってから数週間。
ハリウッド映画は大きな経済効果を生んでいる様子。レンタルショップ"ABCモーターホームズ"
の利益は2倍になり、さらに20台のモーターホーム（キャンピングカー）を貸し出す予定。
コーヒーショップチェーン"Kaladi Brothers"の業務責任者は、Kaladi Brothersの製品、
コーヒーカップなどを見て来客が増えることを期待していて、アラスカンが注目をア浴びるチャンスだと喜んでいる。
アラスカのサイト@ktva.comに現地の温度が出てますが、すでに20度。（摂氏−6．6）寒いんですね。

実際には無いらしい・・・10月17日から始まった撮影は11月18日には終了する予定。

10月29日の記事。 Alaska Native Heritage CenterのCEO、ジョン・ロスさんの送別会のため レストラン"Crow's Nest"に行くと「Frozen Ground」の出演者、プロデューサー
などがディナーを食べていてその中に、ジョン・キューザック、 ニコラスケイジと彼のワイフもいたという感じじゃないかな？
やっぱり、アリスっちも一緒にアラスカにいたんですね〜〜♪

「The Frozen Ground」の撮影が始まったようです＾＾ｖ 撮影風景の写真がアップされてますが、ニックはまだいないです。
映画で使われるフェイクの雪は、お塩とファブリック？ 21人の女性を殺害した連続殺人犯（ジョンキューザック）を追うアラスカの
警官に扮するニック。今回は偽物ではなく本物のガンを所持したいと監督にリクエスト したとか・・・

昨日、話題にあがった「The Frozen Ground」。日本のサイトさんにもさっそく紹介されてます。

実話の映画化となる「ザ・フローズン・グラウンド」が題材としているのは、1971年から1983年にかけて、アラスカのアンカレッジで起きた
女性だけをターゲットとした連続殺人事件です。その事件の被害者について、マイク・フレミングは計24人の女性が殺された…と
書いていますが、実際に遺体が回収されたのは12名で、それらを含めた17名が惨殺されたことを、FBIは公式に確認しています。
ただし、事件を伝えたメディアによっては、犯人の異常者ロバート・ハンセンが別に30件以上ものレイプの余罪があることから、
現実の被害者の数は恐らく37名ぐらいに昇るのではないか…と伝えられています。
