Newest films to watch out (As of May 2003):
X-2 -This sequel to X-Men is directed again by Bryan Singer, who directed the first. Expect new characters like Nightcrawler, Pyro and Deathstrike. And more Wolverine! And by the way, when are they going to show Gambit, Beast and Jubillee? Maybe in 'X-3', let's just see and find out. Opens May 2, 2003
The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions -The much-awaited sequel to The Matrix takes us to Zion, the last human city on the planet. Join Neo, Trinity and Morpheus, along with some new characters, as they continue to unravel the real world and the world of the Matrix. Opens in May 15, 2003, Revolutions will be shown in November.
Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle -Alex, Dyan, and Natalie are back as the babe-alicious Charlie's Angels. Now with a new enemy (Demi Moore) and a new Bosley (Bernie Mac), this sequel is definitely going to be a sure-fire hit. Opens June 27, 2003
Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines -There's a new terminator: The T-X... i think that explains it all. Opens July 2, 2003

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King -The much-awaited final chapter in J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved trilogy. Expect more battles and more mind-boggling special effects. Opens December 17, 2003 (My birthday!).

Newest films to recommend (As of February 2003):
Daredevil -though some parts of it really sucked, Daredevil still delivers everything you want from a superhero film. But still, Ben Affleck is not a suitable superhero character. He may be one of the sexiest men on earth, but he's not superhero material. 2 out of 5 stars.
Maid In Manhattan -Jennifer Lopez delivers great acting in this film from a rise in her role as a desperate, battered wife in Enough (Self defense is not murder, haha). Ralph Fiennes was good, giving audiences his never-ending charm from a english gentleman. Story was good, and the soundtrack was great. 4 out of 5 stars
Cradle 2 The Grave -Wow! I've never seen anything as explosive as this! Hongkong superstar Jet Li and rapper DMX battle it out in Cradle 2 The Grave, from Andrzej Bartkowiak, the man who brought us Romeo Must Die and Exit Wounds. Each of it's characters were played out well, and Kelly Hu was definitely a hottie! 4 out of 5 stars.
Tears Of The Sun -Bruce Willis stars in this explosive drama about a military personnel who must choose in saving the life of one, or the lives of many. Great performance by my favorite actor, and a very good storyline. 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Chicago -This Oscar-winner is definitely a must see! Actor Richard Gere, Academy-award nominee Renee Zellweger, and Academy-award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones dance it all out in the film everyone is singing about. Set against the 1920's, two stage queens battle out for fame, fortune and the likes of a very demanding lawyer. Good cast with an EXPLOSIVE soundtrack! 5 out of 5 stars.
Dreamcatcher -Adapted from Stephen King's best-selling novel, this thriller is directed by veteran Lawrence Kasdan. The actors were good, but still, some parts of it dragged, while some spine-tingling scenes will keep you on the edge of your seats. Not a must-see, but definitely worth watching. 3.5 out 5 stars.
Just Married -A new married couple (Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy) just decided to spend thier honeymoon in Italy. While everything seems to be romantically great, bad luck seems to take over and they are thrown from one trouble to another. This film is worth the laughs! 4 out of 5 stars.
The Core -It's like Armageddon without the asteroid nor Bruce Willis. This end-of-the-earth-like film takes the story to the earth's core, where a military operation caused it to stop spinning. With the help of some scientists, and 'Terranauts', they will venture on a journey that will take them to the center of the earth and detonate 100,000 megatons of nuclear warheads. Great story, but don't you think Armageddon-like stories like this still work? Still, it's worth watching. 3 out of 5 stars.
