"
God's Wilderness"
Written by: Vicki M. Nolan
When I sit by a pond I look into the still
water and I see reflections of God's gifts and beauty in which I thank
Him
for.
All around me are majestic mountains
He
designed, the giant trees He planted and on His breath I watch eagles
soar.
I can see God's paintings in the clouds and
where His hands have brushed the wildflowers and green grass in the
meadow.
I hear His voice in the haunting songs of the
loon and in distant calls of the coyote and I see His grace in the
long legged buck and doe.
I feel His strength in the wild river that
flows ever so quickly and I feel His gentleness in the magnificent moose
and black bear who walk His trails so softly in the light of the moon.
I sense His wisdom in the great owl,
His swift
kindness in the beautiful fox, I chuckle at His humor in the funny antics
of the otter and raccoon.
With His twinkling stars
He can turn dark skies
into bright nights along with the colors of the northern lights.
His generosity
never ceases to amaze me, with every gift he bestows upon this vast
wilderness for all to cherish and see.
